Straight from the local news in Tromsø:

Sinna Ladd Tromsø advance to NC Championship Game

Playing in front of a sold out Valhalla Stadium in Tromsø the Sinna Ladd made sure it wasn't "one and done" in this year's play-offs.
The visiting Cheshire Cats qualified for this game after shutting the High Fives out at home 35-0, but after winning the coin toss, had to punt the ball after just three plays, thanks to a 3rd down stop by newly acquired defensive tackle Reimer Schmidt, who burst through the line, and brought Cats RB Cortez Vedral down well short of a first down.
Taking over at their own 49, the Sinna Ladd marched down to the Cats 11, but had to settle for a field goal by Kicker Osul Skoglund after not being able to reach the endzone on three tries from the 5 yard line.
After trading punts on the next possessions it was the Cats who had the next good drive. Starting from their own 24, it was FB Lester Antonov with strong runs over the middle, who brought his team into scoring range. Lubomír Mazurkiewicz connected on a 40 yarder to close the drive at the start of the 2nd quarter.
With their second possession of the quarter the home team put some pressure on the Cheshire Cats. Behind rushes by FB Erik Lomen and RB Auste Buer the Sinna Ladd advanced to the 2 yd line, from where 2nd RB Louis Helgesen scored on misdirection play behind a good block by LT Kjaskar Teslow.
Then LB Hellik Frederiksen stopped the next promising drive for the Cheshire Cats. Intercepting a pass by Cats QB Sang Schmidt and returning it 31 yards to the Cats 27, it provided perfect field position for the Sinna Ladd offense. Just four plays later QB Anfinn Tobiassen found WR Steinfinn Christiansen open on a quick out route for the 17-3 lead to close the half.
The Sinna Ladd had the first possession in the second half but couldn't convert on 3rd and 2 at midfield, as FB Erik Lomen was tackled behind the line by DE Gonzalo Taran.
The Cats then put together a long time-consuming drive but had to settle for a FG. the score now 17-6 with over a quarter to play.
The next drive by the Sinna Ladd featured all three RBs to finally break the Cats defense. Marching down the field and getting a 1st down at the 11 yard line there was no way to get the ball into the endzone for the finishing blow. Another short FG by kicker Osul Skoglund gave the Sinna Ladd a 20-6 lead, and the Cats plenty of time to turn this game around.
Though they managed to score a touchdown on a short run by FB Jonas Blot, it took too much time against the Sinna Ladd defense to move the ball.
As Sinna Ladd defense captain Ferdin Bru said after the game:" Yeah, we gave up a lot of yards against their running game, but they just wasted time, so what?"
Speaking of ground game, it was a little surprising to see so little of the Sinna Ladd's passing game today. As they have in QB Tobiassen and WR Christiansen the most dangerous QB/WR combo in the league, one would have expected to have them more involved in such an important game.
But QB Anfinn Tobiassen was unconcerned when asked about this. "Would I love to throw the ball more? Sure, I would. But we have three guys here, that can pound the ball all day long against any defense, so actually I couldn't care less about my passing stats.
"It's fun to block for Auste, Louis and Erik. And by the way, I scored my TD today.", added Steinfinn Christiansen with a big grin.

In the other divisional game the Full Floters defeated the Lucentum Dragons 17-14 in OT, after leading 14-0 heading into the 4th quarter, but two passing big plays in the closing minutes of the game by an otherwise anemic Dragons offense today, made this game closer than it should have been.

In the AC the Galrauch Raiders were defeated by the Underdog Lostregos in a true shootout 49-35, and will meet in the AC Championship game the Tuff Gong Iron Backs, who won 21-0 over the Jamaican Umads.
So in the AC the two top seeds are out.

This upcoming Tuesday the NC's two top seeds will be battling at the Floter Stadium for the chance to win the Bowl.
This will be a rematch of their week 11 meeting, which the Sinna Ladd dominated and won 27-0.
Coach King made sure noone underestimated the upcoming opponent.
"This is the NC Championship game, don't make up too much of what happened during the regular season, guys. Because we handed them their balls that day, just means they are even more motivated to hand ours to us, especially in front of their home crowd."

Sinna Ladd Tromsø fail in the NC Championship Game

The Full Floters just ran away with this one.
In a reversal of games the Full Floters won 38-7 against the Sinna Ladd Tromsø and play for the Bowl, while the Sinna Ladd couldn't do anything against it.
After a scoreless first half, the home team just tucked the ball under and rushed the Sinna Ladd defense into oblivion.
"We just couldn't stop them in every facet of the game. Well, there was actually just one.", was quoted an embittered head coach King right after the final whistle.
The Full Floters didn't do anything unexpected by relying heavily on their running game, tearing up the front 9 for 386 yards.
On the other hand, the Sinna Ladd couldn't establish their running game, and while opening up the playbook again for this game, except for one lone big play in the 4th quarter, a 70yd bomb from QB Tobiassen to WR Christiansen, couldn't find any succes with their passing game either.
No player was available for comment after the game, as the coaches blocked all interview attempt by the reporters.
Just head coach King gave a short press conference afterwards.
"This is as gutwrenching a loss as I could have imagined. We knew what was coming, we prepared for what was coming, but they always had those extra-blockers popping up from out of nowhere. I've got to look at the tape, so far I've got still no clear idea what happened out there today.
We're still in the hunt for the Crap Cup...if that means anything now..."
He wouldn't take any questions.
It seems like the sun finally sunk behind the horizon for the most northern team.
