Hey all just thought us 2.1'rs should have a thread for ourselves as well, im not quite sure how to start this so ill start by saying good luck to everyone, hope you guys can keep up with the Cardinals this season, though 16-0 will be hard to beat
 but anyways, oh and yes trash talking is allowed in this so only post if you are comfortable with it, but keep it civil, no attacking the person behind the screenname. |

Good to see a lot of new teams in our league now. Welcome to all you newbies...and stick with it. It takes a while to build a team and there are only a couple of half decent teams in our league so your first wins are not far away

This week we lost Porto Engineers and Flying Hirschs who both looked like play-off contenders.
Where's the competition going? This game takes time guys....you can't be beating everyone straight away! But by making the right decisions you can build a competitive team for this league...don't give up so easily |

I'm here and chugging away. Not had a tough game yet bar beating the previously undefeated FC Mora.
I do have a big game with the Cardinals coming up but I don't expect too much! I registered about a week before the end of season 4, so just concentrating on developing a playbook and depth chart (or two). |

You certainly have the easier conference and should comfortably make the play-offs. I only joined at the start of season 4, and am hoping for promotion this year. Next year that should be you, if you don't make it this year! |

I hadn't actually looked at the strength of the conferences but I can see that I'm in the easier half for sure.
Does only one team get promoted each year? Tbh, I'd benefit from another year at 2.1 to try and develop some decent youngsters to try and avoid being a whooping boy in 1.1, especially with the new more passing friendly engine coming in next season. |

There are 2 teams definitely promoted each year - the winner of each Conference. The 2 conference runners-up still have a chance of promotion as they will face a play-off against one of the teams placed 25th to 28th in 1.1 Never turn down promotion if it comes your way. Even if you get whipped in 1.1, you will be picking at the top of the draft and will have a strong team to bounce straight back the following year. |
