So, my brother played here for a bit, but lost interest. He is going to let the team go bot. He wants to know what is preferred or rather proper...
to just let it go bot...or to put up his good players up for sale... I can't bid on them myself as we use the same IP so it makes no difference to me personally. He just didn't know, and I'm not sure either, if people would rather him put the players for sale so they don't disappear into the database for who knows how long or just let them go. He has a couple of pretty good draft rb's and some mid to good young players. |

The occasional Manager who says "if you're going Bot you shouldn't sell your Draftees" is entirely missing the point ...... it's your team, and your players and if you want to sell .... that's OK ........ but if you want to just quietly drift into oblivion .... that's OK too. My reply would be ..... it's his team and it's up to him to decide whether to go Bot quietly or whether to go Bot in a blaze of glory with a flamboyant 'fire sale' (Verbuch5 did that and raised more than $900 Million  ).
I don't think that there is any established 'protocol' or 'etiquette' for going Bot .... just make sure he's certain, because there's no going back ! |

i would appreciate to see his valuable players on the transfermarket.
to make a shortcut i see it that way: developed or draft players are rare. sale proceeds for teams going bot, don´t hurt anyone. in a few saisons salaries will regulate your team rooster, and managers will have to think about on which positions they want to have drafted and developd players. |

well, I was always selling my players when quiting manager games. But as said before it's completly his choice to make.
