Written by: Don Fettuccini
In a clash that nobody saw coming, the Social Distance Runners hosted the Bracciano Lakers in a thrilling game at the English Garden, heavily backed by Hack 'Em Back. It was a day of bold moves, unexpected turnovers, and some fierce competition. The Social Distance Runners, aiming to defend their home turf, kicked off the match with confidence, even as the tide turned in favor of the Lakers.
The first quarter was quiet, with no scores except for a nice field goal by the Lakers to put them on the board, thanks to Fausto Internò’s leg. And then, just as you think the runners are ready to turn the tide, Troy Law, the quarterback for Social Distance, threw an interception that put the Lakers right back in business with a significant return by Jean–Charles Nyiransabimana. Talk about a swing! The game was officially on, ladies and gents.
The Runners managed to get a couple of touchdowns, but every time they showed life, the Lakers smacked back with even bigger plays. A spectacular run from Samuel Crespo of the Runners was met by another pick from the Lakers, giving them crucial momentum. The Runners' hopes were visibly crushed as the Lakers’ defense became a wall tackling everything in sight.
As the game's end approached, there were injuries, fresh touchdowns, and lots of strategic plays from both sides. However, the final quarter sealed the deal with Bracciano holding strong and pushing for the finale. The social distance didn’t stop the runners from trying to catch up, but the lead was just too much.
Thus, to wrap it all up in style, the scoreboard read 34 to 13 in favor of the Bracciano Lakers. A match filled with excitement, and what a performance! Until next time, signore. The best tactical minds and fierce heart of the Bracciano Lakers reign supreme today!

Can You Believe This? A Million Dollars Lost!
Written by: Al Sore Loser
Oh, the agony! The beautiful chaos of American football has left me in ruins, with my wallet ripped open and my hopes dashed. I wagered a million dollars on the Gardians, convinced that this League match at DMZ Sepulcrum would finally see them shine. What was I thinking? I should have seen the warning signs as the Girona Dragons 1714 took to the field.
From the very first quarter, it was as if the football gods conspired against me. The Gardians won the coin toss and chose to receive, but their first drive was deflated like a sad balloon. Their quarterback, Christian Parisot, attempted a pass to Rémy Loisel, but it fell incomplete. As if that wasn’t enough, they soon suffered an interception thanks to a sneaky Marc Teixidor, giving the Dragons a chance to strike.
Then began a torturous dance of field goals and turnovers. The Gardians managed a shaky field goal, thanks to Cristian Vidal, but I felt more sick than satisfied. Even when they scrambled to score a touchdown to take a slender lead, I was left bitterly aware of their increasing mistakes. A fumble near the end of the third quarter? I could barely watch. They fumbled the chance to secure their confidence and let slip away another opportunity to score.
As the fourth quarter dragged on, I felt myself sweating bullets—hoping that Gardians would find a way to turn the tide. But the Dragons held their ground: every tackle from Pau Sala and Marc Teixidor was like a dagger to my gambling heart, and every touchdown they scored just cut deeper. Who would have thought it would end up with a final play that sealed my fate? A turnover on downs—my head was spinning!
The final score? Girona Dragons 1714 at 30, Gardians at 19. I could hear the laughter across the bar as everyone reveled in my disaster. How could I face the world now? So here I am, nursing my wounds and lamenting the million dollars I thought would bring me glory. Instead, all I got was heartache and a lesson learned. Bet wisely, my friends, because some games are just not meant to be won.

Football Game Review: Bracciano Lakers vs Quokkas on Steroids
Written by: Boris Vodkaev
Ohh, comrade, what a game! Quokkas on Steroids, they good! In first quarter, Bracciano Lakers have score of 10 points, yes! But they must be careful, Quokkas on Steroids also brave, trying to catch up like a drunk chasing falling vodka bottle!
Many plays! Many intereeceptions! First, Bracciano throw ball, and conned by Connor Boafo, big interception! Quokkas try to run and go far, but no points, just dance on field with fancy footwork.
Then, Bracciano score! Touchdown! Touchdown for home team! They score first, ooooh! But Quokkas they not give up easy! They come back with their own touchdowns, but with too many fumbles! Zain Chuasiriporn fumbles, oh no, my friend, lost ball like lost wallet on night out! Strong defense from both teams!
Quokkas on Steroids catch up, they score again and again, until final score is Quokkas on Steroids 38, Bracciano Lakers just 17. So sad for Lakers, but they try their best! Everyone cheer and drink, but Quokkas they drink more! Who can blame them? Score big! Overtime is not necessary, but fun was! What a match!
Yes, we remember: score at end shows Quokkas on Steroids as true champions today!
