We'll see. He earns 217K right now, his demands are currently more than double of that. Even if he's backing down he'd still be very expensive, at least in our (unexperienced) terms. So it may come down to him missing out the chance to be a Hall-of-Famer...
Good thing is we have a promising QB behind him that's only waiting to break out  |

I have a question?
I have a player that is not retiring, but i will not renew his contract. The chances are very high, that he will not play for any other club because he is 30 years old. If i let him go (with not contract, after the rollover) will he be eligible to be inducted in the H.O.F. in the future? |

But if you look into the manual, it says: - the player was a member of your team while retiring From my point of view the usecase you decribe is: He has no contract AFTER rollover, since he is 30+ he decides to retire AFTER he lost the contract and the rollover. To be eligable, he DECIDES to end his career with the end of the contract ON rollover. So from my point of view, no he won't be eligable. |

The first one, i let go at the rollover in the beginning of S56, but because he was younger 27, he didn't retire. His still a free agent. The second one, 2024-07-21 / S56 Pavel Costea leaving No contract I let go at the rollover of this season and yes, he retired, but the 100 days did not pass yet.
