In League match at Wookie Field, many visitors 144277 watched. Game started with Constanta Ravens winning cointoss and electing to receive. Willoughby Wookies kicked ball, touchback results in first down on own 20 for Ravens. An early attack by Ravens, but they could not gain yardage, Ovidiu Antohi sacked two times in series, fumbles avoided. Wookies offense came slowly to life, managing short passes and runs, resulting in touchdown Ah! Finally, score opened with 6 points by touchdown. PAT made good after 7-0 lead established.
Ravens woke up after, with good series ending in touchdown on 2-yard rush. Score tied at 7-7. After following drives, Ravens kicker Joan Sarda made 46 yard field goal to put Ravens ahead 10-7. Wookies unable to respond before halftime, trailing at moment.
Second half began with Ravens seizing momentum, yet interceptions caused by Wookies defense halted Ravens attempts. Wookies defense returned interception for score, taking lead, excellent teamwork! Third quarter closed 7-17 score.
Fourth quarter challenge came, Ravens fought back. Big plays secured touchdowns, and PAT conversion brought Ravens within striking distance. After stressful series, Wookies secured final touchdown late in game. Final score stands: Constanta Ravens 24 - Willoughby Wookies 28.
