After many seasons of consistent performance it was found that the financial cost was starting to lead Inbhir Narann quickly towards bankruptcy.

In light of the disastrous forecasts the GM started clearing house. The whole coaching team has been replaced with a reduction in costs of around 1M and so far a clearing of high wage players has reduced those costs by over 1.5M.

It is understood by this Press Office that further cuts to the Roster are likely before season rollover where a further 1M+ is expected to be removed from the wage bill.

It also appears that the GM is expected to keep a tighter control of the wage bills in order for the teams liquidity to improve to more acceptable and manageable levels.

This will probably lead to a few seasons of average football while this all settles down.

We know the fans have enjoyed the continued success of the club and hope that they will understand that the team is committed to giving them the success they crave, but that the team has to be financially viable in order to do this.

The GM stated that he hopes that the new coaching team will settle in quickly and that the remainder of the roster will work towards turning their recent form around.

So do we all.
