Well with the off-season set to begin, the Arizona Cardinals look to continue to build around the talent brought in this past season. A promising start led to a few blowout losses putting the birds in a must win out situation. Unfortunately even with a respectable 9-7 record with first year management, the Cardinals finished mid pack and out of the playoffs by 3 games. Cordell Wayne had this to say when asked about his opinion on the season and team. "Well you know there's always growing pains with new ownership, new leadership both on the field and on the sidelines, we had some tough games against good teams and just didn't make big plays when we needed to and we're looking to have a productive off-season, we've got a lot of great players coming back and we're going to give everything we have to make a run at that championship"

So with game one of the season only 24 hours from now the word for week 1 is Cordell Wayne. When asked how he felt about the team and his role as starter for the new campaign;.Cordell stated "I'm excited to be here, I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead this team into battle and bring home the championship, I feel this team is going to be a force to be reckoned with going forward".
Reports also suggest a network television series called RedBird Weekly, showcasing interviews and practice reps along with news and highlights from that week's game and a preview of the following game.
