As we start slow building yet another team, here's an u p d a t e to all our fans. After the first full season evaluations, we've cut our first group of players at the start of this new season. HB's Quarles and Navarro, WR's Kirchner and Augustine, DE Purcell, CB's Osorio and Benton, and SF Kruse were all let go to make the roster leaner and hopefully meaner with 44 players.

As we've challenged ourselves by not using the Transfer Market, the Draft and YA are our only way of improving the team. In the first draft, we were lucky to find three awesome high intelligence players, including two LBs (Bates and Padilla) and a third round QB (Barron) that turned out better than our 2nd rounder. The second draft class was void of any obvious postional talent, so we found two solid OL players (Palladino and Ortega), and a 3rd round CB (Dudley) who may only be a short term answer until we find more help in the secondary. We promoted one YA player Gardner, to help out at TE. We've also not been afraid to reposition players as needed. Although we had a few upsets and close losses last season, the Mad Dogs had too many blowout losses. Hopefully we will be a bit more competitive this year.
