Not so fun fact: The Seals have not put up more than 14 points in a league game all season. Take the bull/people giving the points. Michigan Weasel Traders @ Kaunas Red Onions +10 ToT: MWT 78.9/920 KRO 55.3/508 No one this side of Radu, loves a mostly homegrown squad. These Lithuanians can fight but that Weasel Trader train is rolling right now. Averaging over 50 points a game, the Traders can afford to give 10. Minnesota Silvers @ Sheffield Wednesday -7 ToT: MS65.1/639 SW 73.8/891 It's now or never for the Owls. Chasing the Chargers, they must win to keep playoff hopes alive. I see them winning at home but Chad “T-man” might have something to due with the outcome as bettors have moved the Over/under for Vince Rife picks is to a very high 3.5 It may be time for backup Ryan Bryan to take over the Offense. The Silvers have Overpowerd their last 5 opponents. That 5 game heater includes 3 division wins Can they play out of the division and end Wednesday's dream of the playoffs? I don't think so, but those 7 points have me rooting for them. Take the Silvers and the touchdown. This is how a division should end the season with in-division games, I just wish it meant more. Michigan Weasel Traders at Minnesota Minotaurs +13 Tot: 79.7/921 MM 63.3/525 Not much at stake here as the Traders could lose this game and still win the division due to a huge PD 517-285 advantage over the Corsairs. Only the St. Pauli Packers would benefit from a MWT loss by taking the #2 seed from Michigan. Ain't going to happen. Traders crushed the Minotaurs (59-3) earlier this season and I expect more of the same here. Give the 13 and put your money down on the Weasel Traders. Minnesota Silvers at Vancouver Corsairs-2.5 ToT: MS 65.0/637 VC 71.7/907 Nothing at stake here for the playoffs as well. The Corsairs have the #6 seed and a 150 point lead on Sheffield Wednesday. But what this game lacks in playoff meaning is more than countered by a growing rivalry where the young upstart Silvers have been nothing but trouble for the Corsairs. The teams split their matchups last year and this year saw the Silvers squeek out a 19-16 win at home. This past history is the only reason this line is this low. Wildcard week
Vancouver Corsairs at St. Pauli Packers Even Tot: VC 73.1/909 pf594/pa293 SPP 71.5/851 pf589/pa218 What a matchup! Deservedly an even matchup. These teams are making it a habit of meeting in the playoffs. Here they are for the third straight season. They have split the last 2 with the Packers taking last year 38-24 and the Canadian team winning 40-31 back in S58. The host Packers bring a #1 rated rush Defense to this match up. Sad that it won't be used as Offence= passing for the Corsairs who put up a lead leading 6090 yards through the air. WR Lorenzo Dang-nabit leads the team in cashing those yards in with 10 touchdowns through the air. RB Lino "Abbie" Hoffman has made the ground delivery for 6 5 times. On the other side of the ball, Packer LB Abdullah "Oscar" Mayer has been delivering some cold cuts to the opposition with a team leading 10 picks and 3 defensive TDs. The abilty to throw TD's and not picks will be the key for a Corsairs win. The Packers attack differs greatly. They have a balanced attack with a #9 pass and #7 rush offense. Qb Darko Shuster helms the offence alone and has done a great job this season finding WR Manfred "I know nothing" Schulze in the endzone 13 times. The tandem of Pasquale "hungry like the" Wolf and Eugene "Eugene" Pohl have over 1600 yards on the year with 10 trips to the promised land for 6. Stopping them will be the job of Corsair DL Luciano "Pavarotti" Chen. he leads the team with 38 TFL. All in all a close matchup, with both offenses putting up nearly 600 points but you have to stop talking and put your money down at some point. The large, 75 point difference in points allowed 218SPP/293VC over the season has me taking the Packers here in a close one. Always Betting with You Timmy the Greek |

My third playoff season in this league level, my third pirate rivalry in the playoffs. I ordered Simon of Utrecht with the Bunte Kuh into the German Bight to fight the Corsairs, wich is quiet stupid, because Corsairs usually attack through the air or sometimes on the ground, but never over the sea.
