totally agree on Rosen, he'd be my #1 pick too. I slotted Josh Allen #1 because I took this is as a "best guess" mock and there seems to be a solid consensus amongst people more likely in the know that its going to be Allen to the Browns.

It really is absurd, the on tape best QB of the draft might be the 4th picked because of stupid circumstance and character narratives. to me the dude looks and sounds a lot like Aaron Rodgers

Sure. that's the biggest consensus so far: Josh A is going to be #1. Just wanted to put some salt into the soup

Would it make sense for the Browns to go for B.Chubb at #4? I mean, remember #1 pick of 2017! To have 2 fat pass rushers, is that an reasonable option to go for?

Have fun watching the draft!

Darnauld will go 1

Allen is the third best QB

I can't believe he slides past the Jets. He fits perfectly for NY and my god the need a new Broadway Joe and picking the player who out Nameths Nameth is the perfect way to escape the Giants shadow.

I do like your mock with QB going first 4 though. I had top 3 going QB. I am sure the Giants go QB because i do not think they turned the Jets haul of picks for 2 (which lets be realistic if they offered it for 3 they enquired about it for 2) unless you were going to pick a QB with it. Any other scenario makes little sense imo.

very true, but they traded to #3 and couldnt really be sure Rosen/Darnold will be there. maybe they are all in on the fiery leader and proven "winner" Mayfield who is a good bet to be available #3. But its all just a big guess. I just think those "is he really interested in football" narratives and Mora hurt Rosen more than mayfields antics in the eyes of some old white men who are involved in these decicions

Totally agree, how good do I think Rosen will be? I would trade Garappolo in a heartbeat if I could get Rosen and we know JimmyGQ is a god.

I said that Rosen was the man from word go in this draft. The best player in the draft though will be Q Nelson. Slam dunk HoF.

Tremaine Edmunds who i dont think The Niners pass on if he drops will be a stud. He will don the yellow jacket.

BTW I think Nelson may well end up a Bear

My top 10 Mock:

#1 Browns - Josh Allen QB
#2 Giants - Sam Darnold QB
#3 Jets - Baker Mayfield QB
#4 TRADE - Bills from Browns: Josh Rosen QB
#5 Broncos - Saquon Barkley RB
#6 Colts - Bradley Chubb EDGE
#7 Buccs - Derwin James S
#8 Bears - Quenton Nelson G
#9 49ers - Harold Landry EDGE
#10 Raiders - Roquan Smith MLB

Looks good, i'd have to put Nelson with the Colts though, maybe with a trade back a few spots if they're clever, i can't help thinking their number one priority will be attempt to keep Luck healthy somehow.

yep, I kept coming back to that too, but I also didnt wanna look like a total homer somehow guiding Chubb (pass rusher is the bears biggest need) to the bears #8. the buccs already invested a lot in edge players this offseason, so if he falls past the colts, he really might make it to the bears buccs have a huge hole in the secondary and I think they wanna address that rather than go for Nelson.

As for.Barclay how good is he, He is an exceptional talent. Yet be plays RB and RB get beat up badly. I can't pick him real high due to that risk3

I don't want to see Chubb with the Bears, another monster to injure Rodgers isn't on my wish list! Unless they trade all their picks away to move up one spot to get him, i could live with that
