Supercup playoffs are never easy.
Monarchs did so far never play quite good here, so we will see. I hope for the best.

Hi all,
Thought it was about time to make a comment. Really enjoyed my debut season in Monarchs 1, even considering my slow start. I'm loving Rufio13's comments, although being refered to as an 'upstart rookie' is a mildly strange experience for an old man like me! 
Anyway, good luck to everyone in the league and Super Cup. Have fun! |

As said, I do play with games settings, so my QB did decide the formations and did right this day. Good luck for the remaining game and the playoffs. |

I have made my protest and may do so again in the future but for now rest assured that I shall be challenging Leverkeusen for the bowl spot this time around!

A little outlook for the last gameday:
The AC has some stuff open, but not really big things. #1 AC East Torchwood Aliens z 14-1 with PD at 547 Will very, very likely finish the season as #1 with a win against a BOT, which will even boost thir PD further. They could only lose their #1 seat in case of a loss (very very unlikely) or a win with very low PD (very unlikely) #2 AC South Leverkusen Leopards z 14-1 with PD at 492 My team plays against the Raiders and will likely win this, but even a loss will not drop my team down to #3. I would need a max-PD win and a strange Aliens game to get #1, so basically my team is stuck at #2. #3 AC North Poznan Knights x 12-3 with PD at 431 The Knights play the Saints to get the division title sorted out. But basically this is already decided. The max-PD to get would be 60, so if the Saints win by 60 the gain this and would have 318, while the Knights would lose this amount and would have 371 and the Knights would still be ahead. Hence, Knights won already the division and will play for #3 or #4. A loss against the Saints would drop them to #4 likely with the Warriors favored to win their last match. They need a good win to keep the PD advantage, but have 15 points in advance. So likely they will keep the #3, but there is a good chance they will drop to #4. #4 AC West West Geatish Warriors z 12-3 with PD at 416 The Warriors won the division and will play Wildcards, only open is, whether as #3 or #4. With the Knights game likely to be a close one, the Warriors can jump the Knights with a win similar to the 1st game of this season between them, eventually they need a few more points. Good chance to become #3, likely to remain #4 by a few PD-points gained too less. #5 AC North MK Saints x 11-4 with PD at 258 The Saints can win the game against the Knights, but not the division. They won the 1st match of the season, on the road, but it's always tough to sweep a team. I expect a close game and a Knights win, but the Saints have a chance. If they lose, they do only lose their #5 spot and drop to #6 if the Raiders upset my team with a good margin. Likely at #5 here. #6 AC South DA Raiders 10-5 with PD at 236 The Raiders are not favored to win their last game. If they win, they are in, maybe even at #5. If they lose, it depends on the Gators game against the Hooligans. The Gators are favored heavily to win this game and that would bring them (in case of a Raiders loss) to the same win loss ration, but much more PD points. In that case the Raiders would be out, which is the most likely scenario. #7 AC North Florida Gators 9-6 with PD at 346 The need to win against the Hooligans, which they are very likely to do. Their ratings do differ big time, so unless it's a black day for the Gators, they should win and get into the playoffs at #6. The NC has some bigger issues. #1 NC South Paxtang Black Panthers z 14-1 with PD at 502 The Panthers play a BOT, so they will very very likely win, big, and will boost their PD and will remain at #1. They could only lose the spot, if they lose (very very unlikely), or win a close game (very very unlikely) and the Marauders do get basically max-PD against SARMIS (not impossible, but unlikely). So #1 is basically set. #2 NC North Midnight Marauders z 14-1 with PD at 457 Play SARMIS and will likely win there, which is not enough to get to #1. They are stuck at #2. #3 NC East Burnaby Bruisers x 12-3 with PD at 403 The play for the division title in the biggest match of the day against the Hornets. The winner takes it all, the loser does fall (to #5). Who this will be is open for debate. I think the Hornets have an advantage, but I might be wrong. I see the Bruisers dropping to #5 #4 NC West KAFakofers x 11-4 with PD at 275 Set at #4, regardless the game coming. The might win another one against the Rotties. #5 NC East Berinsfield Hornets x 12-3 with PD at 344 As said above the Hornets have the chance to get #3 spot. A loss will fix them at #5, a win brings #3, where I do see them. #6 NC West Space Kraken 10-5 with PD at 323 Play a BOT, so very very likely a win and the #6 spot. Only a BIG loss and a BIG win by the Rotties would drop them out of the playoffs ... not likely to happen. #7 NC West Osler Rotties 9-6 with PD at 235 It's almost impossible the can get into the playoffs. Big win in their last game, plus a big loss by the Kraken MIGHT be enough. But that would basically mean to get a giant upset against KAFakofers and a total worst game ever performance by Kraken against a BOT. Not sure what the worst game by a superior team against a BOT was, but THAT did as far as I know never happen in all the years. So, sorry Rotties, you will very very likley not play in the playoffs. Projected Wildcard games: Space Kraken @ Berinsfield Hornets Burnaby Bruisers @ KAFakofers Florida Gators @ Poznan Knights MK Saints @ West Geatish Warriors |
