ELO calculates based on W and L against their ELOs and maybe the points diff on the games.
The rankings in the league do more or less simple take total yards on the each category. So you can be bad in league ranks, but still be dominant, if you for example score a lot of defense TDs and win games by that. Or you just have enough production every game to win, but the other teams do field way more yards in blowout wins against BOTs and pushovers while you did play only quality opponents. All those rankings do not matter much, in the playoffs the real test come and then you will see. |

My ELO #1 (probably not deserved at this point) and 12-3 in the Elite League, yet my elite rankings: Pass Offense: #22, Rush Offense: #21, Pass Defense: #22, Rush Defense: #7 Only one rating above average. I can't explain this....can you? Steve SD Blitz You didn't play BOT teams this season. There were a lot of off yardage against them and great defensive stand against them. Example: Free agent mascots get 1.066 + 1.339 pass yards vs KIDS. Kids got only 161+238 yards against them in those two matches. Hell hounds get (vs Kids and Gangsters in 3 games) 801+820+979 off yards while getting like 200 def yards per game in those games. So even that score counts as 60:0 I believe yardage is what it is. |

This explains some teams having higher rankings but I think it is not enough to put a 12-3 team so low on the rankings. But the strength of schedule probably plays a big role on it. You may have faced stronger teams and the total yardage from both sides were quite smaller. Just a thought from myself. |
