I saw that but I gave up on the ESPN league a long time ago.
Not enough research and not knowing who the players were was a big problem for me when I signed up for this. I would like to believe that my position would be very different if the season started again next week. I have watched more games this season than in the previous ten seasons already so I actually recognise some of the names now (I think I must of been the only person asking RG who at the start of the season). Although having the two runaway players in your division doesn't help either. I am doing much better in the NFL.com leagues I am playing 3rd in both and 1 game back from 1st I believe. |

I'm still logging on there still trying to improve performances but those there entered the draft with a better knowledge of the players than I did (not a complaint just a fact due to the fact I hadn't even heard of some of the top players who entered the NFL in 2009). Next season I will do better, not saying I will win it but having seen more NFL games (and even a few college ones this weekend) that can only help when next seasons draft comes about. COngratulations to the winner of the official RZA ESPN fantasy league which was.........ME!!!!!!!
Yes, over the two legged final, my Burton Redskins comfortably saw off the challenge of Monkey's Galrauch Raiders - a 22 point lead from W1 being extended to over a 70 point whalloping by the time the last game completed last night. Taking an unfavoured #7 spot in the draft, MTS again rode the Brees pony to success, but an early pick up of Alfred Morris helped me to the #1 seeding and final success, along with the Bears DST and fine contributions from the likes of Gore, Julio Jones and a combination of Sproles/Ingram from the Saints. So 2 titles from the 3 main fantasy leagues i keyed on.....not bad!! Hope we'll get a few more for 2013 p.s. well done to Wadders for finishing an impressive 10th from 10.... |

Considering I didnt know who most of the players were and that was my first ever FF I was expecting 10th. I did far better in my two NFL draft games though finishing 3rd in one and losing in the final last night. If only Romo could throw to a receiver in the same coloured shirt I may have even won it.
That being said the best side over the course of the season won the final so congratulations there. |
