OK, been thinking of a way of improving the draft, what about this....
One simple checkbox..... Move all players in position(s) drafted in previous round(s) to bottom of draft order? Y/N It would help prevent duplicates - eg 1 guy in Sea Devils 1.1 got 3 WRs, another got 3 QBs. |

yea I'd love to see something like this or maybe just a check box to only draft 1 player at any position. anything along those lines would be great.

I had all QBs round 1, OL round 2 and DL round 3.
All the QBs where at the top of my list, OL next and DL after that with the remaining players beneath all of those. In the draft I got a QB, OL and DL. This is already covered. |

So if there had been no OL left in round 2 and or no DL left in round 3, I would have had 2 or 3 QBs too (assuming QB's were left)?

Yes, unless you mark your QBs "round 1" and put them at the end of the draft board you have the chance to draft more than 1 QBs. You were just extremely lucky that every QB went to other teams by the time it was round 2. Same for your round 2 positions.

Ok.
But then all one needs to do is put them all down there in the first place instead of up the top. So what's needed is this advice I suppose. It would also be a further indication of exactly how it works. |

How the draft board works is well written in the manual. There's even an example there that's pretty straightforward. But even after knowing this there are things the current draft system can't handle. Like my problem for instance. Plus it's confusing the heck out of new managers imo.

Also, a good way to solve this is to simply choose your #1 player and s e l e c t the move to bottom arrow. Ditto for the rest. A good way to get everyone down the bottom in the first place.

Also, it seems like a good addition to the draft would be to be able to specify no repeat players i.e. positions. Or a max of 2.
