Congrats Notsch!
 Great game with two different halves, and my guys seemed a bit tired after not making enough out of their opportunities in the first half. but after 3 Championships, I really shouldn't complain  and it really is fitting that Landru Athletics are the last Champ of the old Thunder 1.1  Last edited on 2014-08-27 12:38:07 by Buddy Ryan |

It was a great final to watch, with both teams deserving the trophy!
It is a bit of a fitting, poetic ending, that the first team to win rhe thunder bowl is the last one to win it in its original form. Now, for those transregional cups...  |

And yeah, your offense was really off the hook in the 1st half...2 against 18 (sic!) 1st downs, horrible
Bernard rushed all over the place and Cones completion percentage was something around 100 % i guess 
So being down by 'just' 10 points was truely flattering for my Athletics...but than in the second half my offense remembered how to play and it was like in the real world: in the end the two turnovers made the difference in the end  
Your Bears would have been a worthy champion as well, but of course...yes, i have to admit: it doesn´t feel that bad to have stolen that one from you

congrats Buddy on winning the CofC. And you get to defend it next season as well. What a season for thunder. 3 out of the 4 finalists of the major competitions were from thunder and both titles were won by thunder teams. looks good for the top league.

I am sure the Thunder region earned a lot of respect this season

thx guys, I know I got really lucky in that one
 but I was on the receiving end of similiar games recently, when my guys dominated yardage and possession and my opponents came away with some lucky breaks and the win, so no hard feelings and i guess I couldn't beat FAM without some luck (just look at their salaries for instance), so I'll take that any time
