Since it's been pretty quiet lately, I had some free time and its in the middle of the draft, I thought it would be a little fun to look back at my past drafts to find my best and worst. Not too surprisingly, many of my best drafts were in the early seasons when I was drafting in SD 2.2. But my all-time best draft class was S30/31. (Note: on the player information section, it says these players were drafted during S31, but in roster history, it says S30).
That season, drafting 17th in each round, I got: DE Sales - All DCW team, future HOF, All Star TE Hwang - starter for past six seasons and still playing FB Konvalinka - All DCW team (what is the All DCW team? Go to my press releases to find out!) Sadly, Sales retired at the young age of 30 during this turnover. Konvalinka also retired, but he was 32, so not surprising. Hwang, 33, is lacing it up for his final season. Those three players alone made this my best draft class, but a little cherry on top came a few seasons later when I purchased QB Okui, who was drafted 16th that season by the East Dillon Lions, sold to Michigan State Spartans for $185,000,000 and then to me for the bargain price of $49,494,950. Another interesting note about that draft, it was the first season of Kanar and his Ducks. And his first draft pick that season was pretty good, too: QB Tournier |

As for my worst draft, well, this was a really bad season almost too embarrassing to share, S36/S37:
RB Debreceni - cut, played one game for DCW FB Hernandez - sold, never played for DCW but still playing for Nottingham Hoods RB Messer - sold, never played for DCW but still playing for Rasberry Bush Last edited on 2021-05-06 00:43:07 by ptdoc2017 |
