Final Game
Oilers vs Hornets, which started badly for the Oilers as they looked incapable of mounting any kind of offense against the Hornets. A 3 - 24 lead for the Hornets at half time was a massive mountain to climb for the Oilers. A 3rd quarter comeback as the Oilers scored 14 unanswered points to give them a chance of a shock upset. But the Hornets changed into a higher gear for the 4th quarter and ran out 24 - 38 winners. MVP Neville Quinlan RB - Hornets. Thank you to all the teams who entered, I hope you all had some excitement, tears, spills and above all, some fun. 
I will set another cup near the end of this season, so watch this space. |
