Player 100774637 Jean Sebastien Vardeyen is in my Hall of Fame marked as S31, this player has never played for my team??

Maybe as free agent signed, so no bid, just a contract offer? That is not transparent in the players history.

As a rule, I don't sign players who have played for any other team. It's highly unlikely that I've signed this guy and impossible that I would have spent credits on him to put him in the Hall of Fame...

you signed him a contract on the tm, so he was free agent. You kind of kicked him right afterwards. This is RZA, not RZC, so no credits involved. Of course he never playd a game for you, he never had a chance LOL
Please check the roster history of your team, he is there. So he was a member of your team for a few minutes, which makes him elligible for HOF. |

what I don't get is, isn't it a must that the player was on the team on rollover to be eligable?
Since ages I did kick all retiring players except one when no longer needed. The last one stays until rollover. Result is only that player comes up for HOF. Now that player from the bug did stay for a day at most and is in the list?  |

Plesae have a check when the 18th of Oct 2018 was. 2 days before rollover. This "had no single game, but fired close to rollover" might cause behavior you find strange. I can tell you, it is OK as it is.
