Anyway, it appears that only you were the only one affected but that does drastically increase your score so you are back at the top spot, congrats! I since have put in a name change check so this won't happen again...sorry for the screw ups though... |

Here are the Week 17 - Power Rankings Another big change for week 17 so there is the regular week 17 and a Week 17 *NEW* tab that shows all of these updates so you can see the difference: I changed how the score formula is calculated and slightly altered the weights. I forgot that for the win pct I was ranking it not solely by the win pct but tiebreakers would go to a team's overall rank. So for example if 2 teams are 16-0 and one of them has a better overall rank, my score formula would see their win pct ranks as #1 and #2, instead of them both being #1. I did this initially so there would be no ties in the score formula but I realized this causes the overall rank to be weighted extremely high because win pct takes up most of the score. So what I did was make the win pct have no tiebreaker. If teams have the same record, they will have the same win pct rank. Then to reduce ties I made PD and SoS the same weight but increased the ovr rank weight. This should still mean there will be no score ties as the ovr rank tiebreak is the point differential. I added a 'scoring' tab to the report so you can see a summary on how the score is calculated. |
