If you did not setup a rule for 4th down or at least no rule which is valid in that situation (like last second FG or something like that) the punt rule comes from the match settings.
There are: Punt / Fieldgoal-Settings Try Fieldgoal instead punting on 4th down when distance *dropdown* Go for 4th down when yards to go *dropdown* If you setup "never" on 4th down, they will punt. |

In the Defensive Playbook there is the category 'Prefer'
Can someone tell me what this means as far as frequency. Say I choose 'Run' as my preferred defense, how often should I expect my preferred D to played ... 60% ? 75% ?  |

Hi mate, it will start using that prefered formation and continue using it unless the opposition passes * times in a row and then your team will start using the prefered pass defense formation instead, this will continue unless they start rushing and after * times in a row your defense will go back to the prefered rush formation.... I have no idea how many in a row or % amount * is pal...hopefully someone else can confirm or explain better... My prefered pass and rush formations are always the same...
  so I don't need to worry about getting caught out by opposition playbooks |
