Right now the player details page only shows the awards achieved (aka player trophies) which we know are not always relevant. The number of All Stars game appearances is only displayed on the player career stats almost like a footnote.

My first idea is to include the number of appearences on the "first page" (player details). An option is to include it as badges. For example: 1 star for a player who played at least 1 All Star game; 2 stars for the player which was on 50 games; 3 stars for 100 games and so on.

I understand this is not very signifcant and will not add any real changes on game dynamics. But I think we may give some credit for those well built players and (somehow) for their managers.

Be happy this is not soccer. The manager would have to pay extra for the guy to have the privilege of being an All Star.

Btw, how does the NFL handle such things like payments for playing Pro Bowl?

Pro bowl winners get like 80k while the losers get 40k. This is only a little less than the super bowl which is around 100k/70k. Many players also have contract incentives for pro bowl nominations or all pro teams.

We already "pay an extra" to have an All Star. Their salaries are already way too high to mantain.
