good luck? have fun! This is going to be a super exciting time when you check 5 times a day whether you can get your dream player for 7,500 or whether anyone else is bidding. I would almost want to swap places with you.

Please, keep us up to date

Not sure what I'm doing wrong

I sold most of my big earners.

I signed a few players and activated the HR Department to help me long term however I still seem to be losing money. Some weeks I break even.

It seems my team is broken?

So I've come to the conclusion :

I can continue to limp on through

I can sell everyone and rebuild, training people better so they don't suck every penny out of the coffers through wages

Start again with a new team and the knowledge I have gained.

I know I've mentioned this before but

Any advice?

Radu told me before to start everything over and let this team go bot, but it doesn't look like you are in the RED so I would just rebuild and cut the good players and build my way back up.

My players aren't going for anywhere near what I expected some of them to go for.

Disappointing.

Considering they have an expensive build, it is already very good that you manage to sell them. That will help you a lot in saving money and have a fresh start.

Just my opinion on this, but you might some helpful tips:

Coaches:
That HC CP value compared to the other ACs CP is way too high.
The only benefit for that setup is, you get a bigger base for the youth acadamy training points, but that is more or less useless, since you have only 6 ACs.
As compare, I have a HC with CP 78 and 10 ACs -> YA-points roughly 192 per update
You have 95 and 6 ACs -> YA-points roughly 146 per update.
And you pay 990K for you HC, I do pay 370K.
The other thing you need a HC for is to give the limit for the ACs.
Your best AC has 82, so 13 points less than your HC.
I could understand a few % more than the AC, but not 16%.
You should be fine, if that setup has to be that way, which is of course your decision, with CP86 to CP88, which would cost roughly 450K to 600K.
So, likely 500K LESS. And you YA-Points would sink to 138, roughly.

Facilities:
Not sure how many you have build, but some might trend to build a lot and set them sleeping, but those sleeping positions do add up, so it might be worth a look for sleeping costs. I have only 3 build and 95% of the time I use the same 2.

Players:
You said you have your HR Department activated.
It might already now help to negotiate the contracts NOW, because it can save you 10-15% on your current wage.
But be carefull, wit no expierence, you might get into trouble to get the deal done in 5 tries.
Beside that, mid-term/long-term try to balance out the builds, so not having a skill going too high and the others not. Better set a limit (mine is 43 right now) and train only to that and not further and all needed wage-relevant skills equally, so not one to 43, than the next and so on, more one to 30, next to 30 until all needed have 30 and then advance to 31 and so on.

Generall guideline:
Anything higher than ROUGHLY 6.0 million combined for Coaches and Players might get you into trouble, except you expect many wins and playoff runs.
And you need the media center fully funded.

Roster setup:
It's worth to look on the roster and prioritize the position needs and look for positions which can be optimized. Best example is Kicker and Punter.
I have 1 K/P in union since ages, having a K and a P is worthless.
Some do even scrap the K/P and train any player with Kicking and/or Punting on top and let those do the job, since it saves 100k+ per u p d a t e on top.

EDIT: The savings on K/P is 100K per financial update, so roughly 2.4+ mio. per season. My Kicker did cost 150K, now because of the age decrease only 90K, an equal lone punter the same quality would have cost the same. But scapping a K/P completely is a training challenge on those players you s e l e c t as workaround.

I saw, butchpt6 did adjust a bit his coaching setup, so great, it should help big time saving money.

A have just to make something more details regarding the 6 million barrier on players and coaches wages in total.
This is only valid if you have the premium Youth Acadamy activated. Since it costs 500.000 per update, if you do NOT have that activated, and I know some managers having it not, you can add 500.000 on the 6.000.000 per u p d a t e on the wages to 6.500.000.
