After 2 early interceptions in our own zone and 0-14 as a result, I didn't expect a lot. But then my defense put up a clinic. Our defensive ends did an impossible. Not only did they not miss a single tackle in 14 tries, they had a sack and also a safety that pretty much sealed the deal. And offense did just enough despite allowing 6 sacks, missing 2 field goals and playing against an almost perfect defensive playbook. 22-17 puts us back on track in our division.

18-17 up against Space Kraken with 24 seconds left. Then we threw and interception on our 31. Class told in the end.

why were you passing with 24 seconds left a run would of run out the clock. bad play book
Although a fumble could have occurred, or an injury to stop the clock, a lot of things can happen, but a run keeps the clock moving and most of the time ends the game. Last edited on 2025-01-14 19:41:48 by wsfjlt |

Game Day 3 today in S59.
We’ll be playing our first divisional game today, as we’re visiting the infamous Black Beasts of the Basque Country. Our record against them looks pretty good in past seasons, but every time we played them in the league it was a close one, with the spread always being 7 or below. They won against the Blitz and played the Runners hard, too, with the latter only being able to pull away late in the game. We’re on our heels and will have to fight tough to get away with a dub today. The Bobbers will take on the soon-to-be-bot Mustangs and probably win, while the Ukies have the TigerCats from the AC North visiting. Those Kitties have startet remarkably slow into this season, with two losses by 34 and 25 points. The Ukies have shown in both games so far that they are a force, so we’re curious how this one turns out. Maybe 3 teams in the NC West are 2–1 at the end of the day… and hopefully we’re not the one left behind

There won't be a 2-1 start by 3 of our teams. This is getting very frustrating. A QB who's supposed to be good is just an interception machine. 1st half is not even finished, we already gave up 3 interceptions and a fumble.
It's like this every game, pretty much. It's a guarantee of at least 2 interceptions right away and then good luck. I'm starting to see where Mustangs was going. |

Really tough, close game, with just that one TD in Q4 (following your RB’s fumble) making the scoreline look a bit flattering. And if you’d converted the FG in Q3, our lead would have been just 3 points going into the final quarter. Looking forward to the return match!  |
