Well this was a surprise. I played this game a few years ago and never got this far, and yet this time around with less of a gameplan and a poorer team I've made it to Elite.
I predict an 0-16 season and to be comprehensively outplayed each and every week - I could work on the gameplan and be far more hands-on than I have to this point, but I'm not sure it would make a difference either way. My 5/5 QB coach retired this offseason and I was 15 minutes late getting to my HR department (it was a busy few weeks), so I've managed to lose 4 20-yo YT players who were due to mix into the starting lineup this season - two 50 STR/50 TW OL, a 50 STR/50 SPD LB and a 50 STR/46 SPD DL, all with skills 23-27. Easy come, easy go. Here's to knocking helmets/getting steamrolled!  |

Yeah, far from ideal - I'd already run the HR department for my senior team, just never got around to promoting the youngsters that final week. Just let work get in the way when I should have made time, but (sh)it happens. I do still have most of my hair (at 57) so I can shrug it off as just a game and move on.

With 8.6 mio on every u p d a t e in players and coaches wages, you are bound to make deep playoff runs to stay financially alive. The media center income is especially important in Elite to keep the high wages intact, so I'm a bit stunned you did play it out as you did. This is a very risky business plan and with the divisional rivals, that will be a tough ride. Good luck with that. |
