Sorry for the delay in posting. Hello everyone! I am fairly new (3rd season i think) and am building up my squad (trying not to obtain older players and training them up) and now learning the game. Hopefully i learn enough to be competitive without going bankrupt! WW Just remember; if you're using contracts, you're gonna have to pay a separation fee to cut them. Next; a player's wage is determined by their two greatest skills or agility. Speed and strength do not contribute to wages, the younger a player is, the faster the player develops their physicals. Another note, there isn't really any sort of "Superman" kinda player, you can pay tons to a QB thinking he can flagship a small team; chances are you're just spending extra money. Winning games doesn't pay bills, so don't be afraid to bottom-feed while developing a strong balanced squad. Again: top 2 skills determines wages. Say you have a 25yo QB and you get him on a franchise contract; you can jack up his primary skills (passing, vision) and not have to worry about paying big dollar until the contract is up. If you need any advice I'm all ears, good luck! |

Phew, Thank God I won't have to face the Manta Rays with their new QB in time, They are getting former Black Knights QB Edgaras Balandis, but the deadline for the bidding is 2025-04-05 00:26:50, so hopefully I won't have to deal with him on our match. Also former Wednesday QB Hes been around the Sea Devils division |

HERE WE GO...
![]() PRE-SEASON REVIEW AC EAST Constanta Sailors Devon Warriors Old Brodlians Terrifying Hamsters The Sailors were winners of the AC East in S59, reclaiming their crown back from The Warriors in S58 - However they were stunned in the Divisional Championship as Devon delivered a 33-24 knockout blow to Marinul firing 20 points in Q4 to book themselves into the Conference Final. Devon put up a brave fight in that final against Radus Elite bound Ravens, but ultimately came up short. With SM2s defection elsewhere both The Warriors and Sailors will fancy booking themselves into The Sea Devils Bowl in S60. Wascalywabbit brings over his his AC East Galaxy winning side to throw a spanner into the mix. This division has been a Sailors/Warriors domination for some time. They will now make it a 3 horse raise, sporting a 70+ rated side and recent Galaxy silverware. Ethaziel on paper has the weakest team of the four, with the lowest wages by far. The Hamsters will need to be more than Terrifying to trouble the playoff positions this season. Thats not to say they cant play a major part in the AC East - we have seen that with great tactics 'lower rated' teams can do very, very well... Prediction - Warriors take their title back and could find themselves in the Elite for S61. It will be tight, with ties against Sheffield Wednesday, North Sea Jarls, Copenhagen Chargers and Old Brodlians im sure there will be twists and turns and a couple of shocks. Devon Warriors 14-2 Constanta Sailors 13-3 Old Brodlians 8-8 Terrifying Hamsters 5-11 |

PRE-SEASON REVIEW
AC NORTH Cosensa Riders Eagles Fighting Frankonian Ghost of Bautzen The Aratana Hajimari have rebranded back to the famous Ghost of Bautzen just as id learnt how to spell Aratana Hajimari without constantly going back to look. The AC North was the home of The Sea Devils Champions last season and Damion will have his eye on The North going back to back. Bautzen reached the Divisional Round of the playoffs last season losing to Divisional Rival Constanta Ravens. The Fighting Frankonians - i may be wrong - feel like a team that has been around before. Formed in Season 58 they are in the early stages of their build. If they are a legacy team returning though, im sure they will be a force very soon. Cosenza Riders also formed in Season 58 have the fun of building a side ahead of them and will fight with the Franjonians for 2nd place as The Eagles havent logged in since they were formed... Prediction - A walk in the park for Bautzen who should turn this Division into a Number 1 or 2 seed for the playoffs. Ghost of Bautzen 14-2 Fighting Frankonians 7-9 Consenza Riders 3-13 Eagles 0-16 |

PRE-SEASON REVIEW
AC SOUTH Asturian Dolphins Italian Bears Kladno Ravens Mavericks It is right and proper to start the AC South with a nod to The Mavericks who are now 18 Days without log in - leaving a Maximum of 4 days before one of our Key players goes BOT (Unless the 'NOBOT' option has been activated). Whether The Mavericks log in or not will have massive Ramifications on The AC South and the overall AC Conference. As it stands The Mavs are favorites for the division. They have an almost 80 rated side with just a £2Million Wage Bill ensuring they are another leading contender for the AC Title this season. The Mavericks were S59 AC South Champions, qualifying for The Wildcard Round, where they were comprehensively beaten by Devon Warriors. They are joined in The South by Kladno Ravens. Milit joined the game in S59 and has been very busy in the transfer market. Currently sporting the 'In trouble' Financial monikar we hope The Ravens havent gone too hard too quickly. They look to be a future contender if they can manage the finances. The Asturian Dolphins have been around since S57 and have been very busy honing their tactics in the Friendly Challenges. They finished 7-9 last season and continue to build slowly, with just £1million being spent in wages. The money should be building nicely for The Dolphin who may unleash a Elite push very soon. The Italian Bears complete the group. A brand new team from March 2025 - who have continued to log in. Hopefully they will catch the RZA Bug and build nicely for the future. Prediction - If the Mavericks log back in they will walk the AC South. If they dont its there for the taking, and either The Dolphins or Ravens will add a Division Title to their homepage. Mavericks 15-1 Dophins 8-8 Ravens 8-8 Bears 1-15 More to follow later... Last edited on 2025-04-04 11:08:50 by butchpt6 |
