The HAMBURG SEA LIONS put the league on notice once again with a statement win against the favored Manta Rays.

They got the ball first and marched to the 14 yard line in Manta Rays territory to score the first points with a successful field goal. Then QB Dusty Humes threw a pick, after which came 3 TD-scores in a row for either side before the visiting team punted for the first time.

The Manta Rays got the ball back quickly, as the premier RB of the SEA LIONS fumbled the ball UNFORCED on the own 28. The visitors were held to a field goal again, a testament to the strong home defense that kept the dangerous passing game quite under control for the whole game.

The Manta Rays only found the end zone twice on the second half, while the SEA LIONS kept on widening the gap through surefire field goals, after an exciting game winning 33:24. SEA LIONS QB Bryant Stover again took home MVP-honors (as did Humes), but it should have been the SEA LIONS Defense to take that crown.

SDSC spoke to Defensive Coordinator Mo Eisner of the SEA LIONS after the game:

SDSC: Thanks for letting us take some of your precious time, Mo. This was an impressive showing of your Defense, what was the key to victory today?

Eisner: You’re welcome. Let me first say that I’m very pleased with the outcome of this game. We went deep into scouting the opponent this time to come up with a defensive game plan, and to see it pay off this big is just awesome.

SDSC: It really was impressive, to hold them to only 24 points and not letting them score in the fourth quarter alltogether. What did you do different?

Eisner: Our regular game plan would have been quite good against their tendencies already, but we chose to really dial in on their favorite plays. That took us back all the way to what we learned in S52, when we played in the Dragons league. Which is quite awesome, really, to be thrown back to those times and implement the things you learned back then to a new defensive strategy. We can’t win the game without the Offense, though, they played an important part in this as well. They way they held on to the ball in the final quarter was quite impressive, too.

SDSC: With this win you jumped the Manta Rays in the conference ranking, you’re now 5th. The Packers won today, too, so you’re both 6–2 halfway through the season.

Eisner: We still have some tough games coming up. But we’re quite confident that we can be a serious threat in the postseason, and we will do everything to make that happen.

SDSC: Thank you, Mo Eisner.

The Minnesota Silver Foxes are expecting to put QB Haseri Jampaka on the TM and this weekend will try and find a replacement veteran QB, per the team.

Not just the game, the season has not been going great with Haseri, I just don't see why I should just keep a 100K salary player who is doing worse than a backup.

Case and point:
4:23 3 and 4 to go on own 38, Ivan Konstantinov (OC) snaps the ball to Haseri Jampaka (QB), Haseri Jampaka (QB) selected Winston Mosley (WR/R) as target, Lisaniasi Uele (DE/L) breaks through the line, Santeri Viinamäki (FB/C) blocks, he passes outer right for 5 yards to him, intercepted by Manu Laurén (CB/L) on the own 43 (Big I formation vs. 3-4-4)

Thats his 3rd INT of the game.

So, who wants him?

I really think you just need to vary up your playbook a bit. A good playbook takes a lot of lines. Your Players are far too predictable, hence all the incompletions

I've been trying to do that for a long time, a have different plays in my playbook, I could add more but literally no offensive play has been working great...or at all.

I know I seem like i'm overreacting, but this has been happening for a long time, I adjusted my playbook a bit so that 2 different plays for 2nd down.
