Necessary results in the entire league so they do NOT get relegated: Impossible to be relegated (already 1st in NC East). Constanta Ravens (7-8, PD -65) Opponent on last matchday: Glasgow Tigers (5-10) Necessary results in the entire league for playoffs: Impossible. Even if Constanta wins their last game (finish 8-8), other NC teams that will fill the two wildcard spots (e.g. Dumbarajko Elephants 12-3 and Space Kraken 10-5) already have records that cannot be overtaken in one week — no realistic combination of league results lets 8-8 secure a conference wild card. Necessary results in the entire league so they do NOT get relegated: Must beat Glasgow on Saturday. If Constanta wins they finish 8-8 and finish 2nd in NC East (safe). If Constanta loses, they finish 7-9 and will finish 3rd (or worse) and therefore be relegated (tie-breakers with Social - PD already favours Social, so a Constanta loss means relegation). Social Distance Runners (6-9, PD -63) Opponent on last matchday: KMN Mandalorians (15-0) Necessary results in the entire league for playoffs: Impossible. The best Social can finish is 7-9 with a win — far short of the records needed for NC wildcards. Necessary results in the entire league so they do NOT get relegated: Win vs KMN and Glasgow must beat Constanta. If Social wins they go to 7-9; if Glasgow beats Constanta, Constanta falls to 7-9 and Social has the better PD (-63 vs Constanta -65) so Social finishes 2nd and is safe. Any other combination (Social loss, or Social win while Constanta also wins) leaves Social 3rd or worse and therefore relegated. Glasgow Tigers (5-10, PD -129) Opponent on last matchday: Constanta Ravens (7-8) Necessary results in the entire league for playoffs: Impossible. Maximum Glasgow can reach is 6-10 — far below the conference wild-card contenders. Necessary results in the entire league so they do NOT get relegated: Impossible. Even with a win (6-10) Glasgow cannot overtake Constanta (minimum 7-9 if Constanta loses) or Social in all relevant scenarios; Glasgow is mathematically guaranteed to finish 3rd or 4th and therefore will be relegated regardless of results. |
