A few seasons ago I let my wage bill go too high and had to cut players and rebuild.
This season my wage bill has gone up £1m to £4.1m My question... what is the max wage bill you can have before you lose money? |

I think your safe this season, but you should watch out for you expenses, i'm talking about buying players. After the season, you can do a simple check to see if with this salary you were on the + side, by cutting you transfer money (the players you sold and the players you bought the next season). The thing is in the SuperCup you have a higher chance to play at least 1 playoff game compared to the SD1 region where the battle for the playoffs is intense. Any extra money helps you on that. Oooo, yeah and the Mediacenter has to be at least 90%, because it's a huge difference. If it's under 90%, you get in return 2.5M each week, if it's 90% or over you get 2.75M. Each 4 weeks you can lose or gain 1M. |

Because it depends on other factors as well. For example, the coaches salaries. I can tell you that in my case, I paid an average of $3.7 million in player salaries and could have spent about $3 million more. But now I'm promoted, and if I had been eliminated earlier and hadn't made it to the fourth round of the Supercup playoffs, I would have earned significantly less. In general, I would say you can easily spend 5 million on salaries and you probably won't make a loss. (It should be noted that I pay 1.7 million for coaches). Thanks for this topic. I'm about to forget that money is a limited resource. It's very warm in my apartment. Money is being burned in the oven. I think I'll shovel in another 100 million.

To breakeven, I've found that ticket income needs to roughly equal player plus coaches' wage bills. For Exiles, that's about 7 million, which requires a winning league record plus a supercup playoff win or two. My coaches cost 1.9, leaving about 5.1 for players. But with 2 relegations in 3 seasons, we could do with rebuilding our bank balance. So, glad to have player wages down to 4.8.
Profit or loss on transfers is an extra factor. |
