Why don't we have an option to set friendly cups as single elimination tournaments? I think it would be a nice add as some of us want to do a single elimination tourney without group stage...

I think the reason for so far not adding this is, that if someone pays credits for a friendly cup, the team should have more than 1 game to play.
But of course this would be an issue of how much the teams have to pay. |

Yes. When I wrote this stuff I felt there has to be a minimum # of games for each participant.

A solution could be, to have just an option on the current existing formats, which gives the chance to have ALL group stage teams in a playoff format, AFTER the group stage.
Group stage would serve as seat staging and then it's playoff time. The option ticked add X credits to the initial price per team and Y% of that extra is added to the payout. This would basically make the cups just longer. |

I think there could be something done regarding a 10 credits cost for a 8 team tournament knock-out system, or perhaps 15 credits for a 16 teams tournament knock-out system.
I think it's an ok credit cost, because you can play only 1 game and get eliminated. The first option with 8 teams looks more cooler, compared to the 16 team one, because let's face it. I don't think you will find 16 teams who are willing to pay 15 credits to get eliminated in the first round, but with 8 teams you cand have a higher chance, for the cost of only 10 credits. |

i mean the whole point of friendly cups is to have fun and gain credits its not a formal competition besides you dont make more money so it doesnt really matter if u only play a game... Last edited on 2026-03-25 11:37:08 by MacsUltraVideosYT |
