So our game at the Bungals is neither?

HAMBURGER WAVE KITTIES out last the Baby Bungals 29:27

The answer is that your visit to the Jingle to take on the Bungals will go down in Bungals history as the "greatest" defeat in Bungals history. The line on this game was Bungals +50. Fifty. Five, Zero. And they almost walked away with this one.

HSL jumped out to a 16:0 lead and it looked like they were well on their way to taking care of business. But a missed extra point on the first HSL touchdown seemed to point to a different outcome. The Bungals were able to strike twice before the half to tighten it to 16:14.
A nice defensive stop gave the Bungals the ball on their own 20. This is where the home crowd took over. It was jarring to hear the crowd alternate between absolute silence as Bungal QB Pete "Yoda" Callahan called the signals to unabashed ear-splitting joy at the results of almost every play on the way to the go-ahead TD. 21:16 Earthquake sensors around the US sent geologists scrambling to explain the commotion.
The mighty SEA LIONS were not about to give up. They rallied through the ear-splitting crowd noise to put together a 75 yard td drive to retake the lead 23:21. From here it was time for the Kickers to have their say. Bungals retook the lead on a 50 yard Fg 24:23 Then HSL drove down to the Bungals 5 before settling for the Fg 26:24. Bungals roared right back with another long 52 yard Fg to go up 27:26. Alas it was not to be for the upstart Bungals. HSL methodically drove down the field before hitting the game winning Fg from the Bungals 12 with only a minute left on the clock 29:27. A late pick on Yodas desperation heave ended it.
The crowd could not have been more disappointed in what might have been, but called the Bungals from the locker room twice to receive standing ovations.
There is a new "hot" team in Sea Devils. The Cincinnati Bungals have put everyone on notice.

Week # 6 Review
We have already discussed HAMBURG SEA LIONS @ Cincinnati Bungals. I had to go and take a nap after writing about that one. Maybe being left out of the preview has magical powers? Bungals get a double

Gonna be a game:
Manta Rays 36 Mystics 9 Wow. 4 picks thrown by the mystics. Very unmystical. Rays take command of the NC South
Minnesota Minotaurs 16 Terrifying Hamsters 37 Hamsters holding the Minotaurs to only 242 total yards and forcing 8 punts is the story here. I still have a fond spot in my heart for furry little rodents
St. Pauli Packers 38 Michipicoten Corsairs 34 I would like to first applaud the SDMOTW committe for having the courage to face their fears and name this game the SDMOTW. This was the third game I was watching after my own and the Bungals. What a barn burner. The Canadian Air Force put up 551 yards here! Unfortunately they had the bad habit of throwing a pick, or 2, to start each half. The Pack turned those 3 picks into 17 points. That's how the Pack were able to pull it out even though they gained 250 fewer yards on offense. At various points in the game the score was SPP 21:0, SPP 21:20, SPP 31:20, COR 34:31. Talk about some momentum swings! Great game by both teams.

Might be a game:
Northern Storm 31 Krakow Conquerors 52 Krakow puts up 531 yards to the Storms 399. This was a pick fest with 7 total. Conquerors
Downriver Seals 13 Rome Torresina 41 Rome led 31:3 at half and it was done. Seals manage only 157 total yards vs 467 for Rome. Romans rule!
Gaylord Spartans 45 Minnesota Silver Foxes 6 What's that song by Bachmann-Turner Overdrive? Oh, Right. Takin' Care of Business.
Seattle Sea-Reapers 35 Rome Centvrions 20. Rome needed the 25 points to pull out the "win" here for the SIC. Never would have thought that with Rome leading 20:14 early in Q4. But two long drives and a cashed in fumble had the Sea-Creepers running away with this one. Both teams

Not going to be a game:
Baltimore Blue Crabs 13 Glasgow Tigers 45 Closer than I would have thought.
Copenhagen Chargers 53 Argatha Knights 15 Chargers never had to punt.
Devon Warriors 43 Durham Foxes 21 Foxes soon will be bot.
Ghost of Koh Phangan 61 Maineville Maulers 3 I once read that the mark of a good team is not how they play in close games but how they absolutely destroy lesser competition. Ghosts=Good
Patagonia Raptors 87 Kaczynski Ballers 3 So according to the transitive principle Raptors = good

I apologize again about missing the HSL/ Bungals game but, how come nobody cared that I didn't give any brilliant insight into the godtomsatan 32/ Detroit Diddys 42 matchup?

Due to a bit of travel, and a severe dislike of typing on my phone, I am looking for someone to sub in to write the preview for this week. I should be back at my trusty computer Sunday for the weekly recap.
Thanks in advance. So, who is up to the challenge?
