GG Warriors, didn't expect this one to be close with us still recovering from out MOTY use last week, but still a great game. |

Even without knowing who wrote this, I can immediately tell that he plays in the NC, probably NC North. Am I right?
Something is happening in the AC right now. It’s exciting, even if we in the NC aren’t as involved. Funny part is, I didn't notice until after that it was so NC heavy until after I wrote it. I don't look at AC vs NC when doing my picks, as seldom as I do them. I just look at the teams OVR and ELO and divisional/playoff positioning. I actually avoided considering the AC matchup that you already gave for the SDMOTW as to not be redundant. |

Wave Kitties protect the fortress: A Masterclass by Wolfgang Meyer!
The HAMBURGER WAVE KITTIES have done it! In a high-scoring battle at Hammer Sports Park, we defeated the Gaylord Spartans 42:24, extending our legendary home winning streak to over two seasons. While the new special jerseys brought the style, one man brought the thunder: Free Safety Wolfgang Meyer. Now 27 and in the prime of his career, the Academy homegrown talent put on a historic performance, snagging an incredible 4 Interceptions and effectively shutting down the Spartans' air attack. He truly earned those MVP-honors after the game, for the second time this season already. This performance is a testament to the long-term work of the Sea Lions Academy. A huge shoutout to our youth coaches and staff — Meyer is the perfect example of how patience and elite development within our own ranks pay off on the big stage! However, even after a dominant win, our Offensive Coordinator isn't fully celebrating yet. While the 42 points look great on the scoreboard, the team is still not quite satisfied with the Red Zone efficiency. There’s a feeling that points were left on the field, and with the race for the top spot in the North heating up, every yard inside the 20 counts. A big thank you to the Spartans for the great matchup and the creative nickname — today, the "Kitties" proved they are the undisputed masters of their own fortress as they keep chasing the lead in the North. The home streak lives on! #WaveKitties #HomegrownHero #InterceptionMachine #DefendTheFortress #NCNorth #SeaLionsAcademy #BuiltNotBought Last edited on 2026-03-31 20:04:07 by Chrill |

The Battle for the NC North – halfway through the season edition
What was as a two-horse race in the North of the Sea Devils league has evolved into a fierce three-way sprint for the division crown. With the season reaching its midpoint, let’s break down what lies ahead for the trio of contenders, starting with the current frontrunners. Seattle Sea-Reapers (6–2) Coming off a 9–7 campaign in Season 63, Seattle had a sluggish start before igniting a five-game winning streak. While they stumbled early against elite competition, their statement home wins over the Michipicoten Corsairs and the HAMBURG SEA LIONS proved they are the real deal. Their mettle will be tested immediately: they host the Packers next, followed by a bye-week and a trip to the Mystics. With a second encounter against every divisional rival still on the docket — plus matchups against both Minnesota teams who have shown flashes of brilliance — the path is tough. If the Sea-Reapers keep winning, they will be a truly deserving #1 in the North. Remaining schedule: vs St Pauli Packers, bye, @ mystics, vs Downriver Seals, @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS, @ Minnesota Silver Foxes, vs Agatha Knights, vs. Minnesota Minotaurs, @ St Pauli Packers HAMBURG SEA LIONS (6–2) The reigning NC North champions started their title defense on shaky ground, suffering tough road losses against their primary divisional rivals. However, they’ve turned their home turf into a fortress, extending a winning streak that dates back to Week 2 of Season 62. Recent dominant performances against the London Silverbacks, Kraków Conquerors, and the Gaylord Spartans showcase their elite potential. The challenge now? Taking that dominance on the road. A crucial three-game home stretch looms ahead, and maintaining that legendary streak will be a tall order. If they hold the line at home and find their rhythm away, they might have the best closing kick of all three contenders. Remaining schedule: @ Michipicoten Corsairs, bye, vs. Agatha Knights, @ Minnesota Minotaurs, vs. Seattle Sea-Reapers, vs. St Pauli Packers, vs. Rome Centurions, @ dERBENT CONVICTS, @ Agartha Knights St Pauli Packers (5–2) After a strong 13–3 season and a Wildcard victory in S63, the Packers find themselves in the midst of a "funky" campaign. They opened with a statement divisional win, only to stumble against the Manta Rays a day later. Since then, they’ve struggled for consistency, often finding it difficult to sustain scoring drives. They’ll need to find another gear soon, as they face arguably the toughest remaining schedule in the North. However, with five divisional duels left, they still control their own destiny. Despite their current QB-woes, counting them out would be a mistake — especially after they proved their ceiling by handing the NC’s last unbeaten team a loss last Tuesday. Remaining schedule: @ Seattle Sea-Reapers, @ Agartha Knights, vs. London Silverbacks, @ PATAGONIA RAPTORS, vs. Agartha Knights, @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS, @ Cincinnati Bungals, vs. Gaylord Spartans, vs. Seattle Sea-Reapers

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK 9
It’s Saturday, and you know what that means. It’s time for another SDMOTW. Stabler didn’t rank this game in the top tier, but he also doesn’t know what I know. This game will have a massive impact on the allocation of the wildcard spots. Teams like the Sea-Reapers, Sea-Spartans, or SEA KITTEN will be watching very closely. Today is all about who joins us division winners in the playoffs. Half a season still lies ahead, but in the end, this game will decide it. With a higher ELO rating and more league success, the Manta Rays bring valuable experience and winning momentum into this matchup. Overall, this game features a clash between the Conquerors’ special teams strength and the Manta Rays’ more complete and efficient team performance. ![]() Source: https://i.postimg.cc/gjCBrFRr/3403F6B3-6584-482A-825E-1C6BC5E92580.png |

A golden plane? 🤣 Yes, gold has been the color of the Packers since 1919. It used to be combined with blue, and since the 1950s with green. My away jersey is even green and gold. |
