Season 64 begins now!
Gonna Be The Game:   
The Gaylord Spartans 27 Canadiens (+1.5) 17 Edge of my seat the whole way. Crazy game, The Canadians were gouging the Spartans by RUNNING out of Shotgun 2. Down 17:7 at half, Spartan management was convinced the Canadians had MOTYvated themselves. But then it all changed with an emotional half-time out burst by retiring NT Raul (Cha-cha-cha) Chiaia. Disgusted by the first half performance of the D line, Big Raul implored the line to stiffen against the run and for the LB's to "Catch a turnover". The second half saw both a 4th down stop and 2 picks just as Cha-cha-cha had foretold it. Afternote: The Canadian Kicker situation is a mess. Last year was Gaylord Shapiro, the kicker that thought the Gaylord Zaleaping name was making fun of him. So the Canadiens were "Gaylord Shapiros Men" for the game. So headcase Shapiro loses his job. This year Donn (superflous N) Reed, hits an 18 yard kick and misses a 29 yarder. How much closer does he need to be? After-afternote: The Canadians were MOTYvated! But anonymous reports of unusual MOTYvation techniques have the league abuzz. It all came clear in the formal grievance filed with the RZA Players Association. In the grievance, Corsair players say they were subjected to Celine Dions "My Heart Will Go On" almost nonstop leading up to the game. In fact one player is on record saying before the game that if he heard that song one more time he was "going to go crazy". Multiple players signed the complaint stating that Celine was even played at halftime in the locker room and that "it broke some guys". Gonna be a game:
Krakow Conquerors 23 Baltimore Blue Crabs (+26) 49 Wow! We summoned this one didn't we?  Krakow did throw 2 picks but the Crabs really got the offence humming with 554 total yards including 208 on the ground. Nothing worked for Krakow going 1 for 9 on third down. Crabbies!
Rome Centvrions(+21) 23 London Silverbacks 28 Soooo close! The Centvrions had held the lead all game and were up 20:14 to start Q4. A 73 yard Silverback drive game them the lead 21:20. The Roman 60 yard drive for a FG snatched the lead back 23:21. Rome forced a punt from the Silverbacks with only 5 minutes left. Pinned on their own 5 they needed to drive the field. Instead a second down pick gave the Silverbacks the chance they needed to escape with the win. Both Teams
Wrexham Exiles (+1.5) 17 Manta Rays 51 Fifty -one points tends to get the job done. 557 total yards for the Rays vs 355 for Wrexham. Rays are looking strong.
Might be a game: 
dERBENT CONVICTS 43 Copenhagen Chargers (+12.5) 20 CONVICTS win convincingly (and cover). Chargers had the time of possession advantage squandered by 3 picks. CONVICTS
Downriver Seals (+32) 13 Seattle Sea-Reapers 41 Seals led 10:7 at half but two quick picks in the second half put Seattle up for good. The Finns win with the spread! Good stats for both sides.
HAMBURGER SEA LIONS 57 Minnesota Minotaurs +36 10 Damn! Lost this one. When HSL gets it rolling they are unstoppable. 594 total yards to 194 for the Bullmen. 400 yard delta, Yikes!
Maineville Maulers 62 Kaczynski Ballers (+12.5) 3 Big defensive day for the Maulers holding the Ballers to only 184 yards.
Minnesota Silver Foxes (+47) 15 Glasgow Tigers 51 Thank goodness for the point spread. Tigers held the Foxes to only 307 total yards. And when your kicker is the MVP, that is no bueno. All respect to the Tigers
mystics 37 Yorkshire Sea-Owls (+25) 31 An OT Barn Burner! Back and forth action with Yorkshire leading most of the way. The Sea-Owl offense put up 564 total yards to the mystics pedestrian 370. The mystics needed a 55 yard fg to take it to OT. OT saw a Sea-Owl fumble at the Owl 26. The game was over there but mystics took no chances and punched it in for the TD. Both squads.
Rome Torresina+38 24 Ghosts of Koh Phangan 27 Great game for Rome here even if it doesn't help in the Win column.
St. Pauli Packers 66 PATAGONIA RAPTOR(+35) 7 SPP puts on a performance with 553 total yards and 4 picks.

Week #13 Preview
Gonna Be a Game:
Rome Centvrions +4 @ Rome Torresina SDMOTW The battle for Rome between 2 evenly matched teams. Torresina has a 2 game win streak going in this inner city matchup. Rome T needs this to stay atop the AC North while Rome C swung and missed last week for their division crown. Take Torresina and give the 4 points. Seattle Sea-Reapers+18.5 @ HAMBURGER SEA LIONS Their earlier matchup ended 55:21 for a very MOTYvated Sea-Reapers. HSL is going to win this one but I think the #2 Seattle rush defense vs. the #1 HSL rush attack will be the contest. Take the 18.5 and hope the Reapers can keep it close. Might be a Game:
Cincinnati Bungals +30 @ London Silverbacks Bungals a a season or two off of having this be a big game. I would take the points for sure as the Bungals are unbeatable against the spread. Copenhagen Chargers +29 @ Krakow Conquerors Their week 2 matchup was 59:7 Krakow. The Chargers just can't seem to get off the mat this year so give the points and take the Conquerors. Devon Warriors @ Minnesota Minotaurs +21 I would normally rooting for Minnesota here but I think their PC is just too damn low against a tuned up Warriors. Give the points. Michipicoten Corsairs @ Maineville Maulers +30 If only the Maulers could pull this one out, my life would be so easy. The Canadians have only been averaging 25.9 points per game. Take the 30 and the Maulers. Minnesota Silver Foxes+25 @ Gaylord Spartans There is much consternation that this may be the last meeting of these 2 franchises. The Silver Foxes have threatened moving out of the NC West next season. Earlier meeting was 45:6 Spartans. Give the points and Go Green! mystics @ Northern Storm +38 I see the mystics winning easily but those 38 points look appetizing. The Storm have been scoring points 36.8 per game. Take the Storm and hope the mystics don't put up 60+. Terrifying Hamsters +40 @ Glasgow Tigers Their 2 matchups last season ended 54:10 and 65:10 so you can see why the spread is so large. Maybe Scorchio is comfortable enough to play the backups? Wrexham Exiles @ PATAGONIA RAPTORS +42 The Raptors have the #1 pass offense in the League and they will need to keep it out of the Exiles hands to succeed here. Bet the RAPTORS and the points.
