Still problem understand how defence work

So i have an example

Team A -> plays all the time Big-I Pass

Team B -> setting on Big-I -> Pass: 3-4-4 Rush: 5-2 Prefer: Rush

So what happens?

At beginning Team B plays 5-2 i think because prefer Rush defend formation

But if i understood right Team B will learn Team A always play Big-I with Pass and so they will change to Pass defend formation 3-4-4

Correct?

And if correct -> when will it happen? So how many plays need Team B to learn Team A playing formation in this example?

Correct, and a soon as the number of pass plays is more significant than the number of rush plays. in your example after 2 pass plays...

Declaration easy to understand

But are you sure system really works like this???

I say: NO!

Here today game - just saw it while game running already - taking the first few I-Form attack by opponent

(1)
In the first attack system worked well - my setting was expect rush - it played my rush formation.

So: Opponent I-Form: Rush 1 - Pass 0

Down ToGo DGL Off Form Off Play Deff Form Deff Expect
2 2 9 66 I-Form Rush 5-2 Rush OK

(2)
3 3 2 59 I-Form Rush 3-3-5 Pass OK Failed Change?
9 2 2 30 I-Form Rush 3-3-5 Pass OK Failed Change?
11 2 9 12 I-Form Rush 3-3-5 Pass OK Failed Change?

This are next 3 I-Form play by opponent - everytime he plays Rush - everytime my setting is expect pass

Guess what... system always gets pass formation on the field

BUT!

After seconde play it was I-Form: Rush 2 vs. Pass 0
After trhird play it was I-Form: Rush 3 vs. Pass 0
After fourt play it was I-Form: Rush 4 vs. Pass 0

So i think this is significant - or not? 4 vs 0 is significant, for me even 3 vs. 0 is significant

When reading your explanation even 2 vs. 0 is significant

But system always playd pass formation - didnt "learned" that opponent is rushing

So what is the error? My thinking or he system?

One more note

When the 4th time opponent plays I-Formation

it is the 11 play of him

And all 11 plays are rush so even total count is

Rush 11 vs. Pass 0

So this is also significant

Another weird i do not undrestand - happens several times:

1 and 10 to go on opp 47

Humberto Carmona (OC) snaps the ball to Paco Madrid (QB), who hands off to Carlos Sánchez (FB/R), this seems to be a rush over the center, there is no SS who could tackle him, finally he gets tackled by Toby Sumner (FS/C)

Shotgun 4 WR vs. 5-3-3

Ok. 5DL Men fight with 5OLine Men

FB rush over the center... systems tells me no SS to tackle him - fine this right, but i play 5-3-3 so what is the MLB doing? Sleeping?

Not understandable to me.

Please have a reality check: is the MLB on each single player on the attacker and able for tackling? NO. It is the same here. Linemen and LB dont have a tackle chance on each single play, much more they would have it, but are not near enough on the attacker. The play by play would be 3 miles long if I would list all the single situations on the field, this is why you dont see the LB in there..Please check other plays, and you will find your MLB, I am sure. Dos this explain it to you? I will go into the play pass vs rush thing later, because I have to hurry now...

I would take the 3 miles long log file just to check

No problem maybe DLine is to soft and MLB to soft too so this could happen for sure. Its would be make easier if possible to download logfile so check who was on field on specific plays and count if some player make more errors than other or if its position specific (good tackler on DT but bad on DE) since missed tackles shows also only total

No problem good know you care and check for this

for me this is more important to know for the moment

thanks
