lol...yeah, someone had to go into the Lions Den for Game 1....i wont be making the same mistakes with my playbook as i did when i took on the Untouchables in S5 - but the result may well end up the same, if not worse!!

Hopefully we will have no 'tankers' this season - should be very interesting - especially with the new engine....

To say its been a bad week is a mild understatement and thats before I even get started on my game on Wednesday. I'll admit to having thoughts about quitting but I found on my non pub nights that I'm addicted to this like most of us are.

My season all depends on how quickly I can get a playbook that suits my players in the new engine. The draft will also be very important for me. Hopefully I have spotted a few players others in 2.2 have missed. The difference in my confidence is all down to the new engine, under the old engine yes it would of been tough but I was "comfortable in my own skin" this engine I am still searching for that eurika moment. Will I get there? yes. Will I get there soon enough to chalk up enough wins to stop in 1.1? Now thats the $million question.

He has been almost suicidal. Im considering asking Pete to put a forum ban on wadders after 10pm local time because he clearly cant be trusted to drink his Vimto and then post on here coherently...anymore than usual anyway.

You two will be fine, you are both better teams than me and will fly the 2.2 league flag high like the Blues and mov ravens did last season. Myself and Maracaibo need to pull ourselves together. But there will be plenty of thrills n spills along the way - more spills i agree - but we'll have fun! ish...

Lets hope so as this was the aim to mix it with the elite. You did fine last season so I am sure that you will do so again. This new engine does move the goalposts though.

I have thought for a long time that the Admirals league had the greatest depth of any 1.1 league and High Fives obliteration of the competition last season only proved that. Funny how I couldn't find any moaning in the forums when Landru Athletics won the SC and CoC bowls without conceding a single point though.
