Hello all and welcome to another episode of the only true football program on these forums: the Game of the Week show.
This week we are gonna look at the other end of the table and examine a clash between two teams who are languising at the bottom of their divisions: Pittsburgh Steelers - Bison City Nightcrew. The Steelers find themselves bottom of the very tough AC East but surely still would want to maxmise their win percentage when they can. The Nightcrew are 3rd in a very competitive NC North but still could end up anywhere. To be able to keep pressure on the teams above them a win is required. The Steelers are considered slight favorites in this game but with them playing away from home it could go either way. As always stay tuned until we can connect with the respective beat reporters for exclusive interviews. |

We just had a fax come in from the Nightcrew beat reporter with this interview on it:
Question 1. You are currently 3rd in the NC North but the division still seems to be up for grabs? What is the goal for the remainder of the season? Division is between lionswing or Amersfoort. Although lionswing not been on for couple weeks so could go bot. The goal was and still is to avoid relegation but did`nt plan on getting promoted from 2 for a couple seasons so relegation not the end of the world Question 2. You spend over $8 million on three players the last week. Looking at your transfer history it seems you are adopting a different strategy. Is that correct and if yes, why so? Not really changing strategy. Have built up some money in the bank and trying to add some decent players to roster to replace young players whos physicals not developing as i hoped they would. Over spent a bit but overall plan still in place. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? Lots of luck on my side |

Playoff Watch Game
Another game worth watching is Squales at Pirates. Beckos has Pirates as a 9 point favorite but... Squales is coming off a statement game where they were a much bigger dog and won. The Pirates are 5-2 and a win keeps the mid-season heat on Wild Thangs and Cardinals for the wild card positions. Squales is 4-4 and a win brings them up to the Pirates win total in the Wild Card Chase. Based on records and future schedules this is the first must win that I see for two teams trying to take a step forward and remain in the playoff discussions. Good luck to both. Hahaha, it's not about humbleness, it's just that I have upcoming tough matches (for example, I haven't played any of my 2 games vs. former Elite Fraggles). I might get more wins (I think I can win this week, although I'm not 100% sure), but I think I won't be fighting for a spot in the Play-Offs. Maybe next year!
