Wow, has it really been 243 years since you broke the oppressive bonds of the over-bearing British Monarchy?
Ironic how things go full circle, isn't it? Two Hundred and Forty Three Years after Gaining Freedom from English Tyranny, there are many who would say the student has become the master. The farce at the southern border, for example, which only became a crisis thru self-inflicted questionable new measures and new interpretations of existing statutes, is cited by many as a microcosm of examples of abuse of power ( shutting down the federal government in a failed attempt to get money for the wall, thereby unnecessarily causing hardship for as many as 800,000 Federal Employees and their families), the misuse of available assets ( battle raedy tanks on the streets of Washington DC for July 4th Campaign-Style Display ), and stark ineptitude in governance, ( claiming to s e l e c t "only the very best people" as appointees, some of whom are incarcerated behind bars, most of the rest have quit because they can't stand the constant lying, and refuse to be coerced into doing something unlawful or unethical ), which exists at the highest executive levels of U.S. Federal Government. A Commander-In-Chief who refuses to give the time of day to intelligence, and other high level military and tactical advisors Hard to believe the U.S. Commander-In-Chief could be asked what he would be discussing with his Russian Counterpart, and get away with answering "none of your business" Hey America, it's none of your business what Trump talks to Putin about Nice Democracy you have there God Bless America, to quote one of your own " I'm sure some of them are good people" |

we try not to lose sight of the fact that fewer than 50% of eligible voters actually voted for the candidate eventually declared to be the winner...
it would seem the average American has never been more aware of the value of their right to vote, after the outcome of the 2016 election, so perhaps something positive can come out of this dark period in U,S. history |

Happy 4th of July guys.
May the sanitary situation in your country gets under control and that the recent increase of contamination does not lead to an increase of deaths. And may you find ways to soothe the communities tensions and conflicts. Sincerely. |

I also hope that next 4th of July, I can look back on this thread, and breathe a big sigh of relief, because I just drafted a player as good as Jay Kitchen, and won't have to pay 30+ million for one.
Please.. |

Please.. Oh wow 55 million now!! You wanted some fireworks at your BBQ, you got em!! This guy: Kitchen PS If I'm not allowed to comment on player bids in progress, feel free to delete this or tell me to. Just having fun at the "birthday party", rather than point out that a birthday is just one year closer to death. #partynowdielater Last edited on 2020-07-05 09:18:10 by Maynard |
