Thanks. That would make sense.
It's just that in his original post in the The Lounge forum, he also wrote about the "playoffs". There it says that you will be eliminated "if you run out of stake money". And the stake money to me means the $1000 you receive. Why are the playoffs different? |

The playoffs are different in that not all leagues are as competitive as one another so one league with a standout team could create quite an income by betting large on those and making small bets on the other games. Everything will be reset so those entering the playoffs all have an equal chance of winning.
If Pete bets all $1000 in the first week and gets every pick wrong he is out but if he gets them all right he keeps his $1000 plus the winnings based upon his odds and stakes. I hope that makes sense. |

There is a proposal about a change in the rules in the Dragons forum. They have proposed not being allowed to bet on your own team. It doesn't bother me either way so I will go with the majority. It's too late to change if for tomorrows games but if by Wednesday evening the majority want to change the rules then it will become a rule for Saturdays games.
