Buffalo had a nice little run in our league... exceptional really.. but our boy Pete just flipped the script and all bets are off now. The new transfer rules just made it any man's game now so we can really see how well we all build our teams and strategize both short and long term.

I've got higher aspirations now.... and I know theres atleast four of five of you with me on that.

It's any man's game...as long as that man has 50 million spare to buy a draftee.

For over a year, all we heard was 'There will be no e-bay type bidding in RZA!'

Now what are we getting?

E-bay style bidding!

A big step forwards

It doesn't make a big difference imo. Realistically how many top, top players get put on the tm? I haven't seen many players that would improve my D on the tm this season. And I'm behind Buffalo.

Same with offence.

There might have been a few guys that would slightly improve my team but when player they'll be replacing is <24 I can really justify a big transfer...

So if I can't improve my team that much from the tm, I don't see how it'll make a big difference.

You can always just add a dollar to his price.

There are a fair few out there. I have one up there who would be a starter for most teams, but he's not a spring chicken...

Still, 200 mil is madness for one player.

Thats a really myopic view. My team is mid 50s and chances are no matter what pick in the draft that player won't be a starter for me for atleast a couple of years. But once you get to this level are higher... your acquiring depth AND your acquiring the subraction of another team (if that makes sense).

Now the TM jockeys of the past can't do all of both because more players will enter the frey. I told Pete a long time ago that the prices for an Ebay style market will trump whatever else went on before... it just has to because of the number of participants. So whle the new system may not do much to help your team specifically it will change the dynamics of competition around the entire Kingdom..
