trust me.. there are plenty others out there who waited a REALLY long time for this... and we have the paper stacks to prove it

Looks like Pete is one of those people.

I'm goin to start calling him THE FED

You can always just add a dollar to his price.

no idea what his price is though.... I went from 180 to 200m and I never was the highest bidder... for all I know he set the mark to 300m!

Thats a really myopic view. My team is mid 50s and chances are no matter what pick in the draft that player won't be a starter for me for atleast a couple of years. But once you get to this level are higher... your acquiring depth AND your acquiring the subraction of another team (if that makes sense).

Now the TM jockeys of the past can't do all of both because more players will enter the frey. I told Pete a long time ago that the prices for an Ebay style market will trump whatever else went on before... it just has to because of the number of participants. So whle the new system may not do much to help your team specifically it will change the dynamics of competition around the entire Kingdom..

I plan my team 6/7 seasons ahead so I am thinking long term as well. I agree that the new system will help teams acquire more depth (which I do need), but I can't see how it makes a big difference in our attempts to end Buffalo's reign of terror over seadevils.

Lol.. unless he is Bill Belicheck circa 06 with the spy tapes this can only tighter the gap between the teams. I'm not saying the man is going to get relegated anytime soon but there is just no way the status quo remains the same.. this is tantamount to secondary teams who proscribed to the long haul getting a second draft set..

The gap is getting closer, but this isn't going to close it any quicker. He's 2/3 seasons ahead of me and realistically until he reaches 'the cap' most of us don't stand a chance of overtaking him.

But its just my opinion.

edit: And Buffalo can still spend money too

Hey. Buffalo is the owner of the Lucea Cardinals. He's been the dominant force in Seadevils for while hence the attempts to overthrow him
