I had to gamble with OL this time round, as my best linemen are getting old. My top 5 picks were all OL/TE.

Missed all this best defensive prospects...
At least guy I've got is 48 speed, 35 strength(free) and 3* exp. Old one, but I cannot say it's bad. |

I thought so as well. They only need footwork training. And with all the talk about agility importance for OL, they usually have that around 30 already.

I think I had one OL in the top 15 and I grade OL on a curve every year. as for TE I think I had Shi Tien around ten or so.. drop off after that. DL/LB were easily the best slots this draft and like they say.. I've never heard a team say they had too much talent on the Def front 7.. |

One of the DLs tempted me as a 1st round option.. but he went very very early, and picking 28th, I could only dream of drafting him.
I thought the LBs were pretty weak this time, and I've just promoted a couple of draft quality defensive players from my YA. This was a case of need - you rarely see a decent OL on the transfer market and they sell for a fortune. |
