I like statistics and junk..I look at stats at end of season in the Hall of Fame. It kinda tells me who runs alot or passes and show their best players.

OK, Powerratings a also nice but a lot of calculation is needed for that.
And we have to agree on the calculation method ....

Rgearding the monachs history, I posted the last version a startet.
As you can see, it's a bit old, still a good start.
I would like to bring it up to date.
Basic tasks to da are, getting the informations for each season, and the most challenging task, getting the information who really won.

Respect, good work jack6. So what are your plan? We fill the tables like one divison for one manager?

I thought, one Point for each win and two points for an upset.
Winning the Bowl and the Conference finals will also bring two points.

Saison 1 starting without upset points. The manager will receive the points not the franchise.

These are my suggestions for the power ranking rules.

I wanted to create two kinds of a power ranking a ranking overall saisons from all active and passiv managers and an actual ranking including the current and the last saison.

season rollover- - during this time i been doing a lot of thinking.
I am not get no where in the playoffs. Yes over the season i win many games and win my division and also do pretty well in SuperCup...but thats as far i reach. I do have some nice talent, but this is where it get messy.
My finances are not the best shape either....
So...i divulge in the TM and bout some older guys with great skills, and of course will pay a premium for wages.....in which will leave me in a financial disaster...thats why i been playing freidnly whenever.
But it looks like i will be selling some talent, which i been doing...
So i ask, to keep your wallets open and eyes open here at the start of the season. There will be some young folks and excellent skills.
Maybe this will work out and for seasons to come.

Well, it's not finished, yet.
I think a nice idea would be to do one chanmpionship-type per league by a manager, like all division 3.1 east winners, like I did and post them.
Also when we have this informations all together, a review would be great.

I got a mail by one manager, where he did put in all his trophies ands stuff. Nice, but it does not really help, since the sorting is the most challenging thing.

And of cause the verification of the informations.

That's a very basic ranking, fine.
An upset is, if the winning team has a lower powerranking than the losing team. with which margin?
I will purpose a different one soon.
The problem I have with yours is, that with time a manager will just add points. So if for example I will play for the next 20 years, all other teams (if the managers quit at some point) will NEVER climb to the top.
Ranking formulars are a very tough cookie.
Maybe you can describe what you really want to accomplish to see over the season. Even examples would be nice.

Yes, the lower ranked team makes the upset and receives 2 points instead of one.

That why I want to create two rankings. An so called "eternal ranking" and an actual ranking. The eternal is a ranking over all saisons with all managers/teams ever played in Monarchs 1.1.

Thats why I used this basic formular.

jack6 wrote:

The actual ranking is based on the actual saison and the saison before.
Example:
In saison 11 the team with the most points archived will be on the top of the ranking. In saison 12 this team is on the top of the ranking, but none team has some points, the teams will receive it starting with gameday one. The table from saison 11 will only be used to decide on which rankingspot each team is.

Hope my humbling english is not an obstacle.

EXCELLENT Monarch FINAL between StGeorge pats and Black Dragon

The Dragons edge Nogard out, but was very exciting as Nogard kept the Dragons to FG's in the 4th and that the Pats score on a deep ball and moments later score on a INT. But the Black Dragons took it to the ending seconds for a late FG to win it ALL!!!
WOW!!!

maybe just that Nogard is saving it for the CofChamps game against Full Floaters
