Surely it's necessary, but not enough to be very rich here. And not easy one at all to stay rich(only for very top teams).
I see Botev Plovdiv transfers very strange, as they sold old stars, currently selling young players with huge potential who could be their leaders when team would be coming back to the race. Of course prices for them should be extreme, but only to buy same quality guys one day. Hopefully I'll survive until CaptAwesome return to the top.

I think not. He sold players for 3.3 Billion$, but also wasted 2,5 Billion $ for new players.

I also have a hughe bankroll. Are you scared? You can't buy sucess here. Its more the right tactic in the games and a little bit of right training.

I agree about buying success...player prices are starting to get ridiculous again, and you can't get the same value for money that you could before the TM bidding changes.

Still, $800 million in profit is probably more than 99% of players have in their bank balance. He can afford to pay a premium to secure the best players.

If he's running at 800mio profit in transfers, he has all his money left from every single game players. Will be over 2bil I'd say.

But what use is having it?

I imagine the only way is to save up, save up, spend it all on the best 40+ rated players and be able to use it all on their wages.

Otherwise, he just wants to be the most profitable club in the game, a noble cause imo.

Its simple rebuilding. Build around guys that are currently 21y/o or less. Will have very healthy bank behind me doing it.
Unfortunately I made a mistake and placed Danislav Zlatanov on the market.
Somebody wonna snatch him and list him back?

Back to concentrating on the top, and a NEW #1

1) Botev Plovdiv 9-0 (+1) - so what if they are 'rebuilding', is rebuilding a young, effective, unbeaten team really that necessary?

2) Leeds Celtics 8-1 (+1) - dominated the Vipers utterly last time out, but the stat line of 7/8 FGs is a worrying one - need to overcome issues in the red zone.

3) Solihull Moors 8-1 (-2) - so they ARE human....

4) Naprzod Marsz 9-0 (=) - surprisingly found the Garnets tough. Great D but an anaemic offense needs to start producing.

5) Lucea Cardinals 8-1 (=) - ruthlessly efficient once again, the German Reggae Boyz are marching on towards yet another division title

6) Huddersfield Hippos 8-1 (+1) - forced to come from behind to deny the Fappers. The win column is healthy but there seems to be a spark missing this season.

7) Gotham City Bats 7-2 (-1) - fighting hard to chase down the Plovdiv, GCB are winning ugly - at least they are winning though!

8) Firenze Fappers 6-3 (+1) - a team whose stock is very much on the rise, even though they were eventually denied by Huddersfield, their coach should take heart from a run of excellent performances.

9) Sacramento XSV 6-3 (+3) - the new boys are very much for real, and a demolition of the capable Panthers underlines their playoff pedigree.

10) Monster Piskots 5-4 (-2) - losing 3 on the bounce for the Piskots is unheard of, all is not well in camp Piskot.

11) SV Furpach
12) The Swiss
13) The Vipers
14) Gladiators
15) Brisbane Meteors

A predictable new #1

1) Leeds Celtics 10-1 (+1) - victorious in a thriller against fellow high-flyers Naprzod Marsz despite Tuqiri having a day to forget, the Celtic D is brutal.

2) Solhull Moors 10-1 (+1) - outstanding against the Fappers, then won a hard fought encounter with the Grizzlies, who clearly raised their game somewhat!

3) Lucea Cardinals 10-1 (+2) - could well have the division wrapped up very soon, but don't expect them to take it easy over the home stretch.

4) Huddersfield Hippos 10-1 (+2) - starting to find some rhythm again, could also secure their division title very soon

5) Naprzod Marsz 10-1 (-1) - the 1st team this season to find any room against the Celtics' stifling Run D, but despite picking off their long-term rivals 5 times, they could not move the ball consistently enough to capitalise.

6) Gotham City Bats 9-2 (+1) - A huge win against Botev followed by a lucky win over Paradise. But champions manage to win even when playing badly, and we all remember their late form of last season.

7) Botev Plovdiv 9-2 (-6) - beginning to tumble as yet another wave of restructuring starts to bite.

8) Sacramento XSV 8-3 (+1) - 2 big games with Leeds to come for the exciting 1.1 rookies, but whatever happens, this season has been a revelation.

9) Firenze Fappers 7-4 (-1) - took a beating from Solihull, but picked themselves up manfully against The Swiss to hold on to top spot in the AC West - however question marks still remain as to when they can perform consistently enough in the big league to mount a serious playoff challenge.

10) Monster Piskots 7-4 (=) - they are moving the ball again, and their D is strong, but the Piskots aren't putting enough points on the board consistently. There's time to put that right before the playoffs though, as they are unlikely to be challenged for the division title.

11) SV Furpach
12) Gladiators
13) Vipers
14) Devon Warriors
15) Brisbane Meteors

Big game against NM! coming up next, fwiw Fappers is the only game in all competitions this season I've fielded a full strength team; every other game has had 3-5 'rookies' on either side of the ball for experience and to allow my starters to train agl without pc worries. So hopefully my first stringers can produce a similar result and finally find some consistency against the top teams.

I was really pleased with the Fappers game though, I could probably count on one hand the amount of plays they hand in my half (btw backup punter?). Disappointed with today though, my secondary had a nightmare... And my youth QB needs another season playing in the SC I think.

And the gladiators game had ~6 rookies each side and starters with <90% PC because I was busy training agl so I made a balls of DC and just got complacent and underestimated them.

The quality of 1.1 here seems to have jumped up a notch again this season.

Although that could just be our schedule!

Saying that, we are yet to win a close game but have suffered a few tight defeats. Luck hasn't been on the Meteors side this year.

Warriors, Hippos twice and a three consecutive fumble run against Sacramento makes the stats look poorer than what the team possibly deserves.

1) Leeds Celtics 12-1 (=) - a tough scrap with rising stars Sacramento followed by an atrocious balls-up by the Leeds coach when choosing his roster for the game against Kaunas... but if the reserves can still win against a team with wild card hopes, surely that is a positive sign?

2) Lucea Cardinals 12-1 (+1) - made to work surprisingly hard by Verona, even so, it's 12 in a row now for Lucea.

3) Huddersfield Hippos 12-1 (+1) - the games are tight, the stats unconvincing, but the Hippos are still a tough side to beat

4) Naprzod Marsz 11-2 (+1) - Fine result against Solihull, but their woes against Sacramento underlined issues with the offense.

5) Solihull Moors 11-2 (-3) - a few weeks ago they were the undisputed #1 in Sea Devils, however a fragility has crept in, and the once all-conquering D is starting to look a little porous.

6) Gotham City Bats 10-3 (=) - They only play well when it matters, and with Botev's slide in full swing, they don't need to right now. Apparently.

7) Sacramento XSV 9-4 (+1) - Gave the front-running Celtics an almighty scare, then travelled to Poland and dealt Naprzod a bit of a wakeup call - if they had held the ball better it would been an embarrassing scoreline for the home team.

8) Monster Piskots 9-4 (+2) - Finding some form again in the run up to playoff time, where once again they will not be favourites, however only a foolish (or lazy!) coach would fail to prepare well for the matchup.

9) Botev Plovdiv 9-4 (-2) - when Paul Simon sang 'Slip Sliding Away', he was referring to Botev's star players..

10) Gladiators 8-5 (+2) - in a rich vein of form, the Gladiators are well up for the fight! (ho ho ho)

11) Firenze Fappers
12) Carinthian Cowboys
13) RGIII
14) SV Furpach
15) The Swiss
