Wati, wait, wait.

After your blow out win you have the pole position. You might win with a small margin against Sacramento, but I don't expect a high win against Verona (last game 20-13)

The games for the wildcard round seem to be set in stone. Marsz against Gladiators and Piskots against Sacramento.

Do you prefer Marsz or Sacramento in the Divisional playoffs, Johnny?

My 'unofficial' POWER RANKINGS (yes I'm holiday thus I have the time!)

1st - Lucea Cardinals (14-1) - Irrepressible since the shock defeat on the opening day. Cheers XSV for waking the giant up!

2nd - Leeds (14-1) - No one can stop the Celtics or Cardinals can they surely? Battle on for homefield advantage.

3rd - Moors (13-2) - again look very impressive dismantling weaker opposition. Thursday supercup game against the Hippos could give a truer indication of their real strength (or weakness!)

4th - Hippos (14-1) - Somehow got a better record than last season despite going backwards on all accounts. Rush game has gone to pot, cant string a decent attack. Yet they win. Another close win (but deserved) against the vastly improving Raccoons.

5th - Sacramento XSV (11-4) - If anyone can upset the apple cart in the NC it is these guys. Very impressive for most of the season and improving all the time. The best newcomers to the league since the mighty Hippos in season 8!

6th - Naprzod Marsz (12-3) - Surprising loss against the vipers clearly highlights weakness. Look weak against the pass, but have the talent as shown against the Moors. Although not yet good enough to beat the Celtics or Cardinals.

7th Monster Piskots (11-4) - The NC equivalent of the Hippos. Distinctly unimpressive yet do enough. A 10-7 win against Pardise Loss doesnt realise exude confidence. Maybe they are saving it all for the playoffs?

8th Firenze Fappers (10-5) - Expected win but are building some nice momentum coming into the playoffs. Questions still remain if they can beat the very best in the AC.

9th - Brisbane Meteors (8-7) Its taken time, but they are finally emerging as a team to fear (new tactic - copy the Moors ) . A superb comeback win against GCB. However, they dominated the game and gained over 600 yards. Even the Hippos dont want to face, their once punchbag opponents, in the playoffs.

10th Gotham City Bats (10-5) Smacked by the Racoons, dominated by Brisbane. Things ain't looking good for GCB. Good job Botev decided to rebuild as they might have not even made the play offs! Maybe trying to lull us all into a false sense of security ? Squeak into playoffs and get a better draft pick? Who knows?

11th - The Swiss - could say bye bye to the playoffs, unless they beat the Moors.
12th - Gladiators - unimpressive last 2 games but bigger challenges await.
13th - Raccoons - Vast improvement, will probably qualify for playoffs if they beat the Lizards.
14th - Vipers - Done well despite very tough schedule.
15th . - RG3 - Too little too late

Brilliant, votes coming in.. keep 'em coming...

How I'd like to do it:
Top 15 ranked by record, score 15 pts down to 1 point
As many as possible vote for top 15, 15 pts down to 1 pt

'Official' top 15 worked out by total scores.

I guess I will take a stab at this ranking stuff. Maybe Ill do a top 5, and also the best team with a losing record.

Although mine is more of a who impressed/intimidates me the most.

1: Lucea Cardinals
Arguable with Cardinals or the Celtics being #1. Took losing to a rookie team to shake the rust off their armor. Cardinals can look human though (mostly outside of League play), when Buffalo puts a fair amount of time into a good lineup/playbook than they are almost unbeatable.

2: Leeds Celtics
Punished opponent after opponent. With the addition of 2 Plovdiv players, these guys will only become more OP. I do not look forward to any future meetups with this team.

3: Solihull Moors
A couple of missteps kept this team from the #1 ranking. Brutal on defense, and efficient on offense. They are the ACs mirror team to the Cardinals in the NC.

4: Botev Plovdiv
Shocked? Good. I dont care what they are now, they beat the chrome off everyones bumper while boasting an inexperienced team that featured place holders in some positions. This indicates great preparation and play calling.

5: Naprzód Marsz!
They seem to be struggling lately, which isnt good going into the playoffs. After I played the Cardinals, I feared playing Marsz! the most.

Notable mentions:

Brisbane Meteors -
Would have crushed me if it wasnt for the epic 3 fumble return for TDs in the 1st quarter that secured me a win. They seemed to have learned from their mishap and are playing quite well now.

The Swiss -
This team has pretty much flown under my radar. I think if they can make a few personnel additions (on offense) they might give the Moors a scare... at last?

Best team with a losing record

- vipers -
Wow what a schedule these guys had. Still have a shot at finishing with an 8-8 record.

Several lots of votes in and points tallied - included are a selection of the quotes from the votes:

1) Lucea Cardinals 14-1 (+1) - "Dominated" since the shock opening day defeat.

2) Leeds Celtics 14-1 (-1) - punished by the voters as the last game was vs a Bot. "With the addition of 2 Plovdiv players, these guys will only become more OP. I do not look forward to any future meetups with this team."

3) Solihull Moors 13-2 (+1) - "Brutal on defense, and efficient on offense. They are the ACs mirror team to the Cardinals in the NC. "

4) Huddersfield Hippos 14-1 (-1) - "Another close win (but deserved) against the vastly improving Raccoons. "

5) Naprzod Marsz 12-3 (=) - "Poor result but still one of the top teams"

6) Sacramento XSV 11-4 (+1) - "If anyone can upset the apple cart in the NC it is these guys"

7) Monster Piskots 11-4 (-1) - "Distinctly unimpressive yet do enough. A 10-7 win against Paradise Lost doesn't really exude confidence."

8) Firenze Fappers 10-5 (+1) - "meh. Probably won't get too far in playoffs"

9) Gotham City Bats 10-5 (-1) - "3 defeats on the trot, and scoreline doesn't show how much they were dominated by Brisbane."

10) Gladiators 9-6 (+4) - one of the best of the nearly teams, and getting closer to the top every season.

11) Brisbane Meteors
12) The Swiss
13) Botev Plovdiv
14=) RGII
14=) The Shoulderring Raccoons
