In the bottom we have a new red lantern, the Thoroughbreds, it seems like their owner is not interested in assembling a competitive team this season and is investing in youth while selling some of his best players, a strange decision but one that is his to make. Meanwhile they are now bottom of the table and may find themselves there when it's all said and done! It looks like "bye-bye sell" to me now |

Still the CARDIACJACKETS deserved the win and proved they are ready to win NC North!
I appreciate it but don't say such a thing just yet. We still have a lot of to do just yet. Now stay down there! That reply could make me pay the ransom. |

Nice job and congrats for the 1st position. See you on tuesday Canonico Well my team lucked out on the 4th Q of the game, we went to meltdown mode and yours took advantage of it, well I may add. In the end the result is all that matters, despite me thinking my team should of won this game, but throwing 3 interceptions in the 4th Q of the game (the last one with 30 secs to go that put's the Destroyers in FG range to win it) when having a confy lead leads to a loss. We do take something positive out of this game... Congrats on the win Matty, I expect more close games between us in the future. Hopefully I will revenge this loss! Will do the PR later. |

WEEK VI UPDATE
Info: Added a 'trend' feature to the table, it's not really a trend per say, it's simply the movement that happens with each team every week, they either maintain position, or go up/down in the PR table, that 'trend' is supposed to ilustrate it. Note: Maximum Power Points Possible = 64 points Minimum Power Points Possible = 2 points P.O.R. = Pass Offense Ranking R.O.R. = Rush Offense Ranking P.D.R. = Pass Defense Ranking R.D.R. = Rush Defense Ranking Info: *** = Team had Bye Week. Source: http://i42.tinypic.com/ds7cw.png Week VI is done. Started well enough for the Lions but a 4th quarter colapse lead to a loss facing the Destroyers. At the end of the game many pointed fingers at the OC acusing him of awefull calls on that last quarter, something to be dealt with internaly, ofcourse. The PR leader remains the same, it seems Lanmeur BZH enjoys leading the pack and didnd't accused any preassure this week when facing NasheDeloTabak. The Lions despite the loss manage to climb to #2 in a two way tie with the Magpies, Magpies who had another convincing win over the Sabers. Portlanders continue at the top after another big win over the Vipers, it was a no doubter. Knights and Lambrushia climbed some positions after solid week VI performances followed by the 'JACKETS who had one hell of a coming out party against the Blue Bulls, don't think anyone would predict such an outcome! Will the 'JACKETS owner and manager continue to downplay his team potential? Or will he finally come out and claim his goals!? Who knows... The "Champs" GLADIATORI ROMA show up right after the 'Jackets, they had their bye week just like other elite teams, Gladiators and Dynamos. They should be well rested for next week matchups. To close the book on the top of the PR teams both the Eagles and the Destroyers had important wins, the Eagles certainly enjoyed playing at home against the Acorns, while the Destroyers just edged the Lions like we mentioned earlier. In the bottom the Thoroughbreds retain the last spot after facing another teams that was near the bottom last week, the Angry Beavers showed they are a step (or two) ahead of the Thoroughbreds and won convincingly, with that they climbed several positions in the PR. Meanwhile it remains to be seen the future of the Thoroughbreds organization. Going in the opposite direction are both Neroverde and NasheDeloTabak, they now close the bottom 3 in the PR. That's it for this week resume, Lions have a bye next week but we will be watching closely. Good luck to all! Source: http://i44.tinypic.com/2nlh5kw.gif |

Yeah next Tuesday should be fun, hopefully I can keep the game close until the 4th QT and maybe get a bit of luck then to create a surprise but you're still a big favorite in that game. Your rating's 8 points higher than mine!
The Eagles won't give up though, game on! |

The difference in ratings means only that you rotate your guys more than me so it can't be your excuse if you'll lose BTW I'm only halfway to my playbook for this season and it's not an excuse, it's a fact |

I don't think that's the case. On paper your players are still better than mine. Let's look at the individual star rating of our starters.
Your team first, mine second. QB: 3.5 - 3 WR1: 4 - 3.5 WR2, 3, 4 & 5: 3.5 - 3 FB: 3.5 for both of your guys. Mine are at 2.5 but I have 2 RBs at 3 and you have none. TE: I have 1 guy at 3 and 2 more at 2.5 and you have none OL: You have 3 guys at 3.5 starts, I only have 2. DL: You have 3 guys at 3.5 - I have 2 guys at 4 and 1 guy at 3.5 LB: You have 6 guys at 3.5 - I have 2 at 4, 2 at 3.5 and 2 at 3. CB: You have 2 guys at 4 and 2 at 3.5 - I have 3 guys at 3.5 SF: You have 4 guys at 3.5 - I have 1 at 4 and 2 at 3.5 So overall your players are a little bit better than mine, especially on offense. Hopefully my extra 4* defenders can make a few plays and win the game for me though |
