People would still complain...believe me. And reviewing 16 * 8 * 7 games on each gameday..impossible.

However, like the idea of rioting and burining down parts of the stadium...but this is too much like Soccer

Hehe... yeah we don't want to be associated with that other "football".

I don't think it would be necessary to review every game though. If someone faces an opponent with highly questionable tactics such as those being mentioned here, then they could report it to the commish for unsportsmanlike practices. I don't think there are a lot of guys that do this kind of thing so your reports should be few and far between. Then you could take appropriate action if needed. Repeated offenses result in lost draft picks or something... fan shop gets robbed... players won't re-sign with the team... just spitballing here.

Then you can send in the hooligans to tear the place down.

I just see myself not in the position to make decision for or against a manager. How could I decide if a tactic was tanking, or just misplaced tactics? Punting on 1st down could be a managers fault as well. Managers win because of opportunities, and opportunities are created if other do mistakes, for example.

I think this is simply wrong - there cannot be a clean way to make the decision for or against a penalty

I have to agree. However instead of penalizing what about raising the number of draft picks? This would fix the problem by 60-80% no?

IMO it wouldnt change anything. It would just broaden the range of draftees to chose from...the cream of these guys will get drafted as it is today

Is this just a Galaxy specific issue? Will it change due to the implementation of the superduperkalifragilistigexpialigetisch league?

Super duper league won't have any effect IMO. The problem is the reward for tanking vastly outweighs winning unless you're one of the "uber" teams. Way too many teams that *could* be competitive are taking the dive, so unless you join in - you get screwed.

I asked, because 4 "uber" teams should be in that league, right? How many "uber" teams are there?

ok. that's quite a number. in this case their maybe should be some changes.

for instance, put all uber teams in one conference just kidding. but it looks a little bit that newer teams absolutely have only slim to even no chances to catch up. at least this is how it sounds to me.
