Divisional Playoff
Heidelberg Hippos vs. Universitatea Craiova Hippos (14/3) at Craiova (15/1) was also a match earlier this season, where Hippos celebrated a 48:14 victory, however, Craiova had 9 league victories in a row after this defeat, with wins against Stallions and Wildcats. => advantage Hippos, expecting however a more closer result as the first match. Montesacro Mermaids vs. Guinness Drinkers United the Mermaids with a (14/3) record playing a Drinkers United (16/0). All of the Drinkers victories were lucky wins, the 34:3 against Titans, the 41:3 against Demons, and, the most lucky one, the 73:0 against Foxes.  Where Mermaids had some nice wins against Wildcats, Badgers and Warsteiners. => advantage Mermaids, Drinkers will be out of luck this time.
Ramdozers vs. *Pawn*Stars* As said before, Ramdozers (12/5) are playing one of the best seasons of their career and even managed to beat the Stallions (31:26) in the divisional Playoffs. Now they are facing the Stars (16/0), one of the Top-Favorites this year. Ramdozers will do their best, however, Stars are very hard to beat. => advantage Stars Saarbruecken Orcs vs. San Diego Hurricanes Two teams which played Elite league already, Orcs (14/3) in Season 15, Hurricanes (14/2) in Season 14. Hurricanes just lost agains other Top-Teams , 16:27 against Mermainds and a nice 27:34 Super-Match against Stars. They also have beaten Orcs alreay 20:3 earlier this season, however, Orcs with 9 league victories in a row and a clear 38:12 win against Wildcats in Divisional Playoffs. Luck doesn't matter, Guinness's were clearly stronger tonight, especially their defense, you can't win all games played in a season just by luck. Tonight we could approach their end zone only in the garbage time of the 4th period, but we never thought we could win this game.
Completely satisfied of our season, we did our best. And good luck to all remaining teams |
