Awfully quiet considering the playoffs are just about to arrive!
Looks like five games on the final week schedule with serious playoff implications.

AC Final Week preview:

15-0 Roughhausen Cripplers @ 10-5 Bernau Muskets (+36):
About as unlikely an upset candidate as there is this week, but that is what will be required for Muskets to make the playoffs. Barring a win, they will very likely lose out on the final wild card spot on point differential.

14-1 Midnight Marauders @ 10-5 Nuremberg Fallen Templars (+33):
I am sure they will bring their A game and try to lock in the #2 wild card spot. Likely a meaningless game for Marauders, but still a slim chance at a bye week and home field exists, so perhaps an aggressive "try to run up the score" offense will backfire?

10-5 Green Panthers @ 7-8 Fareham Demons (+11):
Demons with the chance to reach .500, but Panthers are likely in as a wild card team even if they were to finish 10-6. They lead the Muskets by 38 in PD, and the only realistic scenario I see with them on the outside looking in, would be a Muskets win or a blowout by the Demons.

NC Final Week preview:

12-3 San Diego Hurricanes @ 8-7 The Purple Vikings (+7):
Vikings are 0-5 lifetime versus the Hurricanes, despite the close Becko projection. With Aqua not having logged in for ~2 weeks, and the team's conditioning suffering as a result - I find an upset here or even a close game unlikely. If by some strange chance the upset were to happen, Bandits would very likely leapfrog Hurricanes for the division crown.

10-5 Daydream Titans (+6) @ 10-5 Dresden Umbrella Sheeps:
My pick for game of the week ... very evenly matched on paper. A long history between the two with a slight edge going to the Sheeps, leading 13-9 in the series. This game is as simple as it gets - winner makes the playoffs, loser goes home.

Well done, Gambler75

Yes, thanks for the prediction, Gambler. I like predictions!

It's very quiet indeed. A lot of managers possibly don't want to join the chat until they've built up more competitive teams. However, that's rubbish surely. Everyone should join in the banter.

Who says defense wins championships? What a game against the Titans with not much D to speak of other than a few turnovers. 45-42 in OT to pull off the upset win for the Wildcats. Talk about an even matchup... scoring was identical each quarter, yards were very similar... possession was even... just a very close and hard fought game, just how playoff games should be!

Holding onto a 5 point lead for dear life, time running down, Spitfires marching ...

1:33 2 and 2 to go on opp 28, Arthur Love (OC) snaps the ball to Giuseppe Keener (QB), Giuseppe Keener (QB) selected Tom Joyce (WR/R) as target, Mads Matthesen (DE/L) breaks through the line, Timothy Poston (FB/C) blocks, Miles Jefferson (MLB) goes for the blitz, he passes outer right for 3 yards to him, intercepted by Elvin Bradbury (CB/L) on the opp 25 (Goalline O vs. 4-3-4)

Elvin Bradbury saves my season ... and will get a raise from his paltry $9.4k per week in the offseason. GG Spitfires.
