Red Strength cap sadly... but no yellow yet on speed.
However, I had 2 key LBs retire, and the ones in my YA are not ready yet, and was down to 6 LBs with only 2 of them even really meriting a starting spot in a 1.1 league... so I am VERY happy to get a decent LB - (even if he is still a work in progress!) - he can rotate on game day with the other youngsters when I've trained his speed past 40. And with a pick in the late 20s, I doubt I could have got better. He was #6 on my list behind the better LBs/DLs, but they all got picked. Last edited on 2015-10-28 20:31:47 by JonnyP |

I tend to try and stay away from players who have both physicals in the 37-40 range which is why i had him lower on my list. I've been burned too many times by red caps and thats the range where you'll see them more often. I like picking players who are high in one physical and low in the other. You only have 1 stat to train and the likelyhood of him being capped already is virtually nonexistant. It can still cap early, but at least the other physical is high. You're only taking the chance on one physical over 2. Seems you did okay though. Uncapped speed!  I'd convert him into a CB once you get more depth at LB. I'm happy with OLBs having 41 Strength so I guess he'll remain there - assuming his Speed hits 45+
My squad and YA are full of low Strength high Speed CB prospects - 41 Strength with very high Int feels like a luxury! |

INT 50 TW 40,8 strength 43,8 yellow speed 44,4 yellow pos / vis / tackle all between 23 and 24 |

2nd round as usual, without interest.
just to do it a DL with 33 INT/TW, 40 speed red capped and 40 strength yellow capped. just a replacement, waiting my YA kids PS great analysis WorpeX |

Got myself a solid LB at round 1 with the 32nd pick (Seadevil 2.2 draft).
44 INT / 46 TW 47! STR / 46! SPE Exp 3 22 yo Secound rounder is a pretty nice DL but kind of stupid... 22.6 INT / 40.7 TW 48! STR / 37? SPE Exp 3 19 yo Both will start the season. With the alst overall pick tomorrow, I do not expect much... |
