I have a few questions. If I choose to accept the offer, will the player then go back to being a regular player, or will he definitely retire next season? And does the offer expire? Or can you wait till rollover before accepting?

So do all the offers come out at once (on this particular week) or is it a rolling thing?

Yesterdays mails were a special thing, to introduce the feature to you guys. It will happen at Season rollover from now, and ONLY at season rollover. Maybe I will add a second point in the season, after the regular season maybe, were players will offer something to you. I don't know yet.

So does that mean we could increase chances of top "old players" offering to extend their contracts if we beforehand fire the not-so-good ones?

Not really, it works different. Reducing the number of players means also, reducing the chance to get offers at all

I have one asking for $5M. I assume that's a flat payment to simply not retire - then one has to separately negotiate salary afterwards?

Is there any way to see a ballpark of what they're going to ask for, before giving them that big chunk of cash?

Yes, you pay him for rethinking, and then you negotiatew again. So it might happen you pay 10 m for keep him staying - and lose him on the negotiation chat

It is "weekly wage * factor", but inside 2 and 10m

1.) Yes, he becomes a regular player
2.) No, he skipped his retiring plans completely once he accepted your offer
3.) You should not in case you HR Dep...and at Season rollover all the "offers" are reset anyways, new offers might happen. So...no, you should not wait till rollover happened...

So up to 2 offers on the rollover and up to 2 offers other day during the season? Then still only 2 can be accepted?

Let me repeat my self: not sure yet.

It means really: I am not sure yet. Sorry, but I cannot answer your question now.
